I Heart Faces

Contemplative

thoughtful observation; full or deep consideration; dreamily or wistfully thoughtful: a pensive mood; expressing or revealing thoughtfulness; quiet modes of apparent or real thought; can be marked by some sadness, but doesn't have to be.

How could I resist entering a week when the theme is "Contemplative"?? I mean, my kids are thinkers. They are thoughtful at all times. So quiet I can hear myself breathe. Of course I have many pictures of this theme.

Ok. I lied.

My children are loud, sometimes disrespectful and do many things without thinking beforehand.

Like telling their own mother that they don't like her face.

It's ok. I can take it. My happy pills help me out.

Anyways, here is my entry. I captured this picture of a quiet contemplative moment that lasted about half a second. It is my proof that it does actually happen.

And, just for fun, here is my Pets entry.

This is Studley.

Studley's wet nose. I heart Studley's wet nose. I even love that you can see his teeny tiny front bottom teeth and gray beard.

That Studley. He is one in a million, I tell ya. I think everyone should have a dog like him.

At least he likes my face.

I love Studley too! Didn't he make it into a collage not to long ago?

And how did you get your son to be contemplative for 1 second? Do tell your secrets!

I love the picture of Studly!!!!

And the face your child is making, my kids sometimes have that look in their eyes. I wonder what they are thinking. I wish kids came with subtitles or something above their heads. It would make life so much easier!
