My children are lucky enough to have Great Grandparents. Two sets actually.
They are lucky enough to have a Great Grandfather who would do absolutely anything for them.
I mean anything.
Oldest child is named after him.
And it is a very nice, classic name if I do say so myself.
No, it isn't George. Or William.
My children are lucky enough to have a Great Grandpa who visits them.
Every day. At 3pm.
He comes to our house with snacks and a drink.
He sits in the backseat of his own car so the boys can sit in the front seat.
Because little boys like to pretend they are driving.
They talk about their day.
The weather.
Guy stuff.
While eating their marshmallows and cookie.
Sometimes Studley and Clyde the bunny even get a snack.
Because he is nice like that.
Have I mentioned he is almost 93?
These pictures were taken in 2007. When he was a young 91 years old. And yes, he is up in their playset clubhouse.
Go here to find out if I want another baby.

Awesome picture - your kids are so blessed to have a great grandpa around! Enjoy!
Your post gave me goosebumps!! And I love the pictures! What special moments the boys get to have with their Great Grandpa!
Happy ATWT! :)
I love the one of grandpa up in the tree house! Now that's what kids really want and need from the adults in their lives! Just spend some time in their world.
That is amazing! Your kids are indeed extremely lucky and blessed!
I am jealous! I would love it to have a grandparent come over every day. Any grandparent would be great! Your kids have NO idea how very very blessed they are!
What a wonderful experience for your kids!
amazingly precious memories to treasure!
Okay, now you have me in tears...I miss my grandpa's and great grandpa's more than words can say! Unfortunately they are all back in Alberta. Sigh....I hope your little ones know how blessed they are.

How special -- I wish my kids had grandparents like that. What memories for your kids. I will be a grandma like that because I'm like that as a mom. Great picture. TFS
How wonderful! One day they will realize how lucky they are to have him around, and able to play.
Happy ATWT!
That is so awesome. My daughter does not have a grandfather in her life, (or really any male figures unfortunately), but I wish my Dad was still alive for her, he was that kind of Granddad. My mom is 84, and has 5 great grandsons that she would do anything for, and her grand kids as well!
