Sunday Citar-Fathers.

I have a father.

I have a grandfather.

My husband is a father.

They are all great men.

And I consider myself extremely lucky to be a part of two of them.

I consider myself blessed to have three children with the other one.

One day our two sons will be men. Hopefully they will be Fathers one day.

Because if they are anything like the Fathers they grow up with, they will be loved. And cherished. And appreciated.

And on this day I remember all of the fathers that are no longer with us and know that they are looking down with smiles.

Because they are still loved. Still cherished. Still appreciated.

So on this Fathers Day, I leave you with this quote. One of my favourites.

He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.

Beautiful tribute. I have always loved that quote but had actually forgotten about it in recent days. I would like to post that on my blog along with my own father's pictures. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day with all of your "fathers".

I agree... great quote. Inspires me with my own kids... though I'm not a father, it's still moving. :)

What a beautiful post. This is my 3rd fathers day without my dad and I don't think it gets any easier. This definitely put a smile on my face :)

I like how you introduced each aspect, father, grandfather, husband and the lovely things you said about each.
