Randomness
*It is Tuesday. Again. How does that happen? Time is going by too fast...especially considering summer holidays begin in just over a month and I will have all three kids home for 2 months.
Hold me.
*So I was doing my motherly duty and playing soccer with middle child. Ok, I stood there and he took shots at me and I pretended to be really good. I wasn't. Middle child informed me that "little kids are better soccer goalies than human beings". I agreed...because I was just ecstatic that he considered me a human being.
*I was shopping for a bathing suit over the weekend. One that actually fits and tightly covers my boobs because the others I own are...umm...loose...and when I bend over it is quite a show. If the men like deflated balloons.
Anyways, as the bathing suit store lady informed me how great it looked on me, I quickly replied with a "I threw up a bit in my mouth".
Then I bought it.
*While discussing extra curricular activities with my oldest child, I gave him the speech about not quitting something just because you're not the best at it. I blabbed on and on about trying your hardest and committing to getting better rather than just stopping altogether.
I gave examples of him playing hockey, joining Boy Scouts, soccer, baseball and karate...and hating them all when he didn't get goals or home runs.
He huffed and puffed and let me know that the only reason he quit karate was because he did not like seeing and touching other people's feet.
Smart kid.
Feet are gross.
*Studley smiling. Just because.
Happy Tuesday y'all!!!

Thanks. Needed those today. And at least you found a suit.
I hate swim suit shopping!!!
His comment about feet is funny, and true!
Love Studley's smile!
Here's to a great Tuesay!
Bathing suit shopping is definitely not high on my list.
Very cool that your middle child considers you a human being. ;)
Studley's smile is infectious!
I started swimsuit shopping (online) yesterday. I'll take today off.
Love Studley's smile.
I would quite any sport that required me to touch other people's feet too! He's brilliant!
Congrats on the swim suit!
What is he doing touching feet? Didn't know they did that in Karate? Ha! Bathing suit looked great huh? Then by all means, buy two of them!!!
My body doesn't go with swimsuit...just saying!
Hugs
SueAnn
Love your random post today. i did random too. I should have linked up. Anyway, this body and a bathing suit will probably never meet again.
Studley must be loving the suit. Either that or he likes watching the human beings trying to be goalies.
Thanks for your randomness,
I love that picture!
I love Studley! Swimsuit shopping...yuck! And by the way, what's up with the VERY low cut swimming suits that DON'T cover up my sagging 38 year old, double D, "balloons"! Where's the justice? Love ya, Kristina
I'm going to say something that will make everyone hate me but this year, I hate swimsuit shopping because I can't find anything in my size that isn't made of one singular thread.
I have finally gotten my fat ass down from a 220 size 16 to a 119 size 4 and there don't seem to be any size 4's in women's sizes and if they are, they're too "Mom-ish" and when I check the junior section where I'm a 5 or 7 (that is just too confusing) everything is a tiny square.
Luckily I had a boob reduction because these puppies were a 36I 3 years ago so they're a 32 C/D (I'm 33 and they're about maybe 24 now?) but I still can't be prancing in my yard with two triangle patches on my chest.
I need a tankini. Target didn't have one.
Oh. Side note.
That bottom protective cover shield freaks me out.
Always happy to see Studley.
And you're moving on up to "human being" after being "the worst mom in the world" not too long ago. : )
I totally get the feet thing. Totally.
And that dog picture is awesome. If that doesn't make you smile, you are not my kinda people.
