Apparently I missed the memo sent out to notify me that my home has been declared a garbage dump.

Ha! Hilarious!!! At least they PUT the gum there and didn't take the gum off of the restaurant table and chew it. So funny.
Oh, that is so gross! But I think it is better than boogers! I'd rather peel off chewed gum than scrub off dried boogers. How hard can it be to get a tissue?

Hey you kids come from the same scool of thought that my son uses when he cleans, "out of sight, out of mind." At least you only found one piece of gum, imagine if you never checked underneath there, there would a collection of colorful chewed gums!
Totally disgusting! I think you should put it somewhere in one of their places and see what they think!!! Or stop cleaning altogether until they get the message! Ick!
