I like to think that I do not have an addictive personality.
I rarely drink.
I do not smoke.
I do not do drugs even though I like cough syrup alot because it helps me sleep.
But I do have addictions.
They are ok addictions to have though.
I think.
Blistex. Having soft lips is a good thing.
Hand lotion. Dry skin is icky.
Gossip magazines. I am an expert on Heidi and Spencer.
Chocolate. It is a dairy product.
Etsy. I am supporting small shops.
Costco. Just because.
But I have a new one.
I bought one of these.

I thought that since I am not going to the gym and still enjoy eating dill pickle chips and chocolate, I may as well get myself walking.
No, I am not pregnant.
So I put one of these on in the morning.
And check it about 991 times in a day.
I shake it a few times to add a few more steps.
But that's ok.
Because shaking is exercise too.
The good news is I am walking 20, 000 steps a day.
The bad news is I am not losing any weight.
I wonder why.

I think a pedometer is a good thing to be addicted to! And I'm totally with you on the Blistex and hand lotion!
Sounds like good addictions to me.
20,000 steps a day. HOLY CANNOLI! Wow. That sounds like a ton. I like those pickle chips too.
I just subscribed to US WEEKLY because I love it. So what is the dealio with Speidi? Are they gone from the jungle show or what? Is Heidi ill?
It's pretty funny that you admit to shaking it. I used to do that too but I would never admit to it. I was always important for me to break 10,000 every day so if I was only a few steps off, I shook it...I mean, no body was going to know right?
Dill pickle chips are the best. That sounds like a lot of steps, I wish I was addicted to a pedometer.
I could see how that would be addicting! I'd probably be the same way.
A.) love the list
B.) I really want a pedometer. I've been eyeing them at the store for a while now.
C.) Dill pickle chips SHOULD be diet approved. I love those suckers. I tell myself "hey dill isn't BAD for you so these can't be BAD for me"
and D.) SHAKE ON!
Works for me.
I have an addictive personality too. So many addictions so little time.
What a great list! And how far does 20 thousand steps per day equal??? If it is pretty far, I make try it... and forget my 3 mile early morning run!
Love the pedometer addiction! I have a heart rate monitor that I was using when I was working out. That thing I would strap on even when I was vacuuming! I wanted to see how many calories I burned pushing my Dyson around.
Thanks for sharing!
Dill Pickle chips are so unbelievably good! I walked to 7-11 in the (light) rain for a bag of sour gummie worms...I think I might be addicted to those! (stoped by from mama kat's)
What a great post! I need to come visit you more often because I really like your writing style. And you check your pedometer about as often as I check my email for blog comment. Do you think if I shook my computer I would get more?
