Days of Summer

Summer is not summer at my house without these little guys.

Machines.

Machines in the house.
Machines in the sandbox.
Machines in the garden.
Machines in the tub.
Machines in the dirt pile.
Machines hidden in the grass.

And close by are two boys.

And a toddler girl.

I love boy toys sooo much better than girl toys! Although they tend to be a lot dirtier.

And there's just no point picking them up. I actually love seeing them lying around... reminders of my son. Just a pain when it's time to mow the lawn and I can't find them in the "grass" because it's like 6 inches too long. =)

So true! I have two little boys and we have little machines EVERYWHERE!

Oh, we have little cars all over. They are endearing to me because I know that it is like you said, a little child is somewhere nearby. I will MISS when all those little cars and machines are gone because it will mean those little kids are gone too!

Ah, the trucks. What would our house be without them? We just had to make an unfortunate decision to get rid of some of the machines in our house. We have too many. It was a delicate situation and needed to be done when they were outside on the tire swing, but nobody seems to have noticed yet :P

Princess Nagger loves those kind of toys, too. Right now we're inundated with all things dinosaur. :)
