A Story about a Drama Queen

There once was a girl named Princess. She started her day just as she always did.
Breakfast.
Playtime.
When Mommy informed her that they were going to get her haircut for the very first time, she didn't think much of it.

They headed to the salon with some candy and a camera.

But Princess wasn't impressed. In fact, she was down right ticked off.

The tears started.

And the ugly cry began.

The ugly cry continued.

And continued some more.

......and some more.

Even after the two minute event was finished, Princess still wasnt happy.

She let Mommy know by saying "No", "Down" and "Walk" 1539 times.

Mommy gave her a big kiss and hug.

Princess stopped crying.

They went home.

The End

*Sidenote. I have a daughter. A daughter with pigtails. Pinch me because I think I am dreaming*

She's so cute!

Was it getting sprayed with the water that set her off?

I've had to hold childen on my lap so that they would "agree" to their first hair cut, and the second, and the third ... :)

What a cutie!!! I keep thinking I should get my daughter's bangs cut but her pig tails seem to be changing daily.

She is so sweet! My little boy does the EXACT same thing during his haircuts!

Except I can never snap photos because I have to hold his hands the whole time so he doesn't try to push the scissors away!

I still haven't taken #3 for a real life haircut. Instead I just cut it myself and now he rocks a mullet. So sad because he used to have nice hair.

UGH-hate those moments! My little man was SOOO good during his FIRST hair cut at one-and then every one after has been a traumatic experience. He is JUST starting to get over crying while getting a haircut.

Awww, what a big girl! I took all my boys for haircuts a couple of weeks ago, but my littlest one REFUSED! Still not sure what to do about that. I'm thinking your daughter's pigtails would look good on him! LOL

Happy WW!

Happy WW to you!

My sister is on me to cut my 15 month old son's hair and I JUST WON'T DO IT. And as if I needed more ammo, I don't think I could bear the tears. Surely I can just snip his bangs while he's sleeping?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pony tails. She is a cutie.

Looks adorable.

I definately do not look forward to having to take my son to the barber. I used to do it myself but it needs some style that I can't give. It will be traumatic.

I would laugh, but I have a kiddo that thinks it is the world's worst punishment getting a hair cut.

I feel your pain! ha! Great shots of your little princess.

Oh, that is awesome! Haircuts are fun with little boys, but I think it's truly a rite of passage for little girls. Those pigtails are precious.

LOL!! Oh, that is such a girl thing to do!

At least mom could comfort her in the end. :)

She's adorable.

Oh you poor thing...

Taylor was like this the first few times we went too. Only he was writhing as though he was in pain and I was literally HOLDING the child down so that I WOULD WIN!

Talk about therapy bills for that kid one day!
