A Letter to the Humans who take up all of my time

Dearest Children,

I love you. I really do. But you prevent me from doing the things I need to do to be a healthy hottie.

I have been working my hardest to be your fathers Trophy Wife and your needs and wants are interfering with my success.

Just sayin'.

I must exercise. You see your Momma has lost 30 pounds but still feels flabby and would like to tone her appendages.

That means spending some time on the treadmill and at the gym. It does not mean doing puzzles and teaching you valuable life skills that will stay with you for the rest of your life....like reading....tying shoelaces and...umm....using the potty.

Geesh.

You guys are demanding little humans.

How am I supposed to be a tanned, toned perfect Mom when I have no time for myself?

I cook.
Clean.
Teach.
Chauffeur.
Referee.
Play.

And...well....enjoy every second of it.

The exercise can wait.

Until September when you are all in school.

I love you muchly.

Love,

This post was inspired by MamaKat's prompts. I bet she has time to exercise.

I dread that first day of school!

And why is it that having kids around always seems to add pounds? ; )

You've got it just so. Who has time to prepare healthy food and get regular exercise? And why do they leave those tempting morsels of food on their plates, causing me to eat twice what I need to? I'm just saying...

I lost 30lbs about a year ago. I gained 10 back. I blame the children and my strange attachment to meeting their needs. Them and the cookies. Enjoy your summer. You can lose weight later!

Loved this!!! And I too am stopping my exercise program for the summer due to the excessive presence of children. (Of course, it doesn't take too much to make me stop exercising!)
