This summer I will.....

{not do the ugly cry at middle child's Kindergarten graduation}

{sleep in}
{take my boys to the Drive-In}
{go swimming in the lake even if it is too cold}
{pull myself up on water skis}
{stay up for more than 2 seconds on the water skis}
{take the kids for a picnic}
{eat ice cream for dinner}
{wear purple toenail polish}
{take approximately 387 pictures of flowers}
{maintain my 30 pound weight loss}
{enjoy the summer with all three kids at home  *gulp*}
{cut down on the yelling}
{keep the children busy}
{read my photography books and actually learn how to use my camera}
{sleep in a tent}
{take kids to the local amusement park even though I am terrified that this will happen again}
{take each child out alone.  Just one child with their Momma.}
{appreciate every evening that I don't have to pack a lunch for school}
{and help with homework}
{enjoy some time with just me, myself and I}
{smile}
{go strawberry picking}
{make strawberry jam.  While wearing an apron of course}
{run through the sprinkler}
{laugh}
{write messages in a bottle and send them off to their unknown destination}
{maybe.....attempt potty training with Princess}
{remind myself that time is flying and to enjoy the time that my family spends together}
{tell my kids how much I love them every single day....even when they tell me to stop}

Because one day I know they will remember those moments.

All of them.

Happy Summer!!!!!!
Check out MamaKat's place.  She is swell.

Yay for the nail polish! Is that your leg behind the princess? Smokin' girl!

"enjoy the summer with all three kids at home" ... I seriously doubt that is possible but I wish you the best. I think you have a good game plan ... and I'm totally stealing your idea about ice cream for dinner!

Oh my! You are setting some pretty high goals there my friend; especially the me time coupled with the all three kids home for the summer.....do the nail polish (you'll love it! Promise!) call it done - then be extra proud of yourself for everything else that gets crossed off. (yeah, that's the way I roll....set low standards & then be proud when I achieve more...)

I like your list. A lot!

Hope you have a terrific, happy, accomplished, rambunctious, purple-polish kind of summer!

What a fantastic list.

Ice cream for dinner sounds divine.

Stopping by from Mama Kat's.

Love your list. I also read your water park scare. What an awful feeling that I know all too well. When my youngest was 2, we lost her at the Magic Kingdom and she was missing for 45 minutes. It took me years to go back to any amusement park by myself. In fact, she's five now and I've promised to take them to Busch Gardens by myself. Wish me luck and pass the Prozac.

I like the idea of taking each child out alone. I think I am going to try this. Congratulations on the weight loss and make sure you keep it off give or take 2lbs(ok may 5lbs)

What a list! Good luck. Can't wait to hear about the report come September.

I absolutely love your list. Are there still drive ins? The last one near me was torn down years ago.

i loved your last one about telling them you love them even when they tell you to stop.

That's a great list! I hope you accomplish them all, with nail polish intact!

And I think the kids secretly expect you to continue to profess your love after you stop...they're just testing you (at least that's what I tell myself).
