Between refereeing fights over dog leashes and who gets the blue cup at dinnertime, I am...well....tired.
And Have You Ever hasnt been happening regularly.
Me sorry.
I know you have been waiting to join in on the party.
I mean, who wouldnt want to ask meaningful questions mixed in with meaningful experiences and hear back from others saying "Me too"?
It justifies my life really.
Knowing that others experience similar...um...experiences helps me to stay somewhat sane and feel that my life is not "weird".
Even though I know it is.
So here goes.....
*Have you ever answered the door and talked to the nice people for 10 minutes only to find out that you had chocolate on your face the entire time?
*Have you ever allowed your children to play in the {dirty} puddles after a major rain storm?
*How about letting them swim in their underwear?
*Have you ever heard your own Mother when you were yelling at your children?
*Have you ever taken your children to the beach and watched as they played together nicely? Did you just sit there in that moment and appreciate your life?
*In that moment, did you think "Holy crap, I am the mother of three children"? Probably not if you dont have three kids but you get the jist.
*Have you ever wondered how on Earth people get so many followers of their blog?
And wondered how much you have to pay people to read your stuff?
*Have you ever wondered what you want to be when you grow up?
*Have you ever wondered what your chidlren will be when they grow up?
And if they will be rich enough to buy you a new house?
With a big deck?
And hot tub?

I wonder EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. what I will be when I grow up!
This was SO great : )
I do wonder how some people get followers. I can't stand people that just do giveaways all the time and beg for followers. Give me a flipping break. I NEVER enter their giveaways (well, unless it is a new car or something equally fabulous) and I NEVER follow them. I click away with a quickness!
Just be yourself and post a lot and followers will come : )
oh I have! glad I'm not the only one :D
Well, I can honestly say that I've never thought "Holy Crap! I am the mother of three children!"
It's just a biological impossibility.
I really like this idea of yours...I'll have to give it a little thought...
pretty much yes to all those questions! as frustrating as it so obviously is when kids fight over the most iNSIGNIFICANT of things (well, significant to them!) - it's heartening to know you're not alone! for my husband's family, it was the 'cutty spoon' - a spoon that had a flaw in it. for my BF, the stool closest to the wall at the breakfast bar - i could go on forever!!! happy PSF
I just clicked over from My Chaos My Bliss...
YES! To just about all of the above. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I still marvel at the fact that I'm a mother to a pretty amazing little guy, I love letting my little one jump in puddles (and sometimes will splash right along beside him) and swim in his clothes or his diaper, and I have no idea how bloggers get hundreds and hundreds of followers!
I'm glad I stopped by, this was a fun read and something I completely related to right away!
I think I have done every single one of these things!! Definitely wondered at how I'm the Mom of 3 kids. Seriously, HOW did that happen? A big part of my heart is still the little girl playing on the beach, not the Mom watching her kids play.
great "have you ever" list this week. Congrats on so many readers. I have not wondered that to myself, yet:)
Fun pictures and yes, I've let mine swim in the undies.
I think the key to big followings is regular giveaways. That is my theory anyway.
And have you ever forgotten about a meme for weeks and weeks on end because your blogging schedule has just gone down the toilet? Yeah .. me too.
I'm all for the hot tub!
I'm ok with playing in clean mud puddles, and swimming in the underwear, and sitting on the beach and enjoying life. I've never had the chocolate on the face experience, but I've forgotten to take off my volunteer tag from volunteering at the elementary school and gone all day (shopping included) with a bright yellow sticker on my blouse that says my name. Nice.
I think people get followers from linking to giveaways and then telling people that they have to follow their blog in order to enter the giveaway and also from commenting on other blogs all day long and following them. Those are my guesses.
Me too! Especially the last!
(But I only have one, so when I think "holy crap, I am the mother of three children" I know it's time to put the whiskey away and start drinking coffee.
