Have I mentioned that I am Canadian?
I love my country.
I love my country's health care system.
And I love my family.

This weekend is our Thanksgiving.
We will be enjoying it with 20+ of our closest loved ones and appreciating all that we have.

I, myself will be laying on the couch with my left foot elevated because it is broken.
I fell.
I twisted my foot in a very unusual way. Unusual enough to break it. Actually, I don't think it was broken until I started walking on it after I fell and then heard a very loud "snap".

Not fun.
Especially when I was on the stairs and the "snap" was painful enough to bring me to my knees and immediately make me feel like I had to vomit.

But anyways.
It is Thanksgiving here.
And I am very thankful for all I have.
My family.
And painkillers.
And my bloggy friends.

Happy Turkey Day to all of my Canadian loved ones!

Happy Thanksgiving! I sympathize and am also thankful for pain killers :) This mommy is dealing with a broken leg (among a host of other injuries!) so I totally feel your pain - literally! You're blessed to have a good healthcare system. Our is...less than desirable...

Happy Thanksgiving to you & your fam! I hope your foot starts feeling better soon - can you mix your pain meds with a glass of wine? (Just kidding... maybe.)
