Especially living up here in the far north.
Also known as Canada.
In our homes of course. No igloos here.
Unless there is an area of town I dont know about.
Just scenes of coldness outside of my door because it was too cold to walk anywhere.
Hmph.
Icicle hanging down off of the barn roof. As you can see, the sun was shining so I caught drips in motion without even trying. If only I could photograph the stuff I actually try to capture.
Studley. Tummy deep in the snow. I am sure, in his mind he was calling me bad names.
Drifts.
My favourite "cluster" of trees in our back field.
Bench.
More pictures of cold here.

Brrrr! That made me cold! There's no way I could live up there. No way.
On another note - I have that exact same bench!
I love the first picture of the droplets of water and the picture of the snow drifts. You know it's cold when the snow has been blown by the chilly wind!
Wow! There's just so much snow. I really need to visit a place like this so I can see it in person! I love the photo of your dog in the snow. I love the composition and he's just so cute!
Brrrr! I need a blanket, those are cold. :)
I love the icicle drips. And the look on your dog's face is great. He doesn't seem to happy with the cold.
Love these, love your icicle and your doggy is too cute!
I just love the cluster of trees, so pretty!
Great photos - I love that first shot with the water droplets captured so perfectly.
Love the contrast of the dog in the snow!
Great photos! My favorite is the one of the drifts. I'm sending you warm thoughts from N.M. Happy day, Momma!
Really like the first one. Isn't it great how you capture awesomeness without trying, but when you try...not so much.
I think your dog shares the same sentiment as mine this winter. :)
great shots this week!!!
I need to go find a coat just after looking at those!! And yes, I do believe your dog is cussing you out in his head. ;)
Hopping over from you capture. Love your shots - especially the trees and water shots (and why is it so hard to get shots we want when great oops shots seem to happen on their own?). We live in Minnesota and our landscape is currently looking similar to yours! Spring is on it's way!
What are you talking about? These seem artsy fartsy to me. Love the icicle photo. And Studley (of course). But man ... it looks bbbrrrr cold.
Love the picture of the drifts!
Beautiful Pictures! I'm in the Cold North too (Minnesota).
We have 30's forcasted for the next week so I'm thrilled!
I'm a new follower.
