We went to Disney 4 months ago but I am not finished talking about it

Yes, I know it has been awhile since we went to Disney, but I still have more to talk about.
More photos to share.
More stories to tell you
And I love it there.
Doesnt everyone?

During our last full day at Magic Kingdom, we learned about a little known attraction over at one of the resorts. We made our way on to a boat over to Fort Wildnerness Campground to see horses.

Shocking, isnt it?
That we {a horse-loving family, who also own horses} would want to see more Percheron beauties.
But they werent just any horses. They were the horses who pull people up and down Main Street to Cinderella's castle. They were the horses used in the awesomely fantastic parades.
We just had to see them.
We wanted to see what their home looked like when they werent being all pretty and well behaved at the parks.
We wanted to see their gold horseshoes and their fancy, expensive stalls.
Basically we wanted to see how well Disney treats their beauties and if Ike and Duke were living like po' folk.
Po' means poor for all of you homies who dont talk in homie language.
Youre welcome.  I am here to teach as well as ramble.

Anyways,  this is the barn that they live in.
Nice, but not built with gold bricks like I expected.

Tri -Circle! Get it?
I wont lie, it took me awhile to figure it out.
Dont judge.
I am only human.

This is where the horses live.

This is Ralph or John.  Not sure because it was 4 months ago.
I would tell you if he had gold teeth, gold horseshoes, cashmere bedding or smelled like cotton candy but we werent allowed to get very close.
So lets just pretend he did.

This is another horse we saw, but he was at the other end of the barn.  The part that was blocked off so people couldnt "Ooo" and "Aww" at their beauty and bling bling.  They dont want people getting the horses all excited before they are sent over to the parks to pull thousands and thousands of excited little kids around.
Thats ok.
I used my zoom lens and just pretended that we were close.
It was totally ok that we just hitched a boat ride with three very tired children and searched a campground for the barn so we could see John and Bob and Ralph.

I am glad we went.
Because now we know that Ike and Duke live a pretty fabulous life at our little farm.
We know that our horses are just as pretty.
And we also know that Disney horse poop smells just as bad as non-Disney horse poop.
Even from a distance.

This was the closest we got to the horses.

"A horse is a horse, of course, of course,. And no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course ..."

Oh my gosh...look what you've done to me!!!

Looks like the Disney horses are well taken care of...but your horses are part of the family...a big difference.

It is a nice barn, but honestly I think Disney has enough money to do better. IMHO of course.
