A Letter to Jersey the dog

Dear Jersey
Due to the recent event that we like to call "The Corgi Attack", we have taken extreme measures to get you trained properly.
Obviously the previous training facility had no idea how to teach {smart, protective, dominant} you, so we have found someone else.
The Drill Sergeant.

That's not her real name of course, but she knows her stuff and, well,{kinda} scares you because she doesnt put up with your dominant behaviour, which is good.........
....because then you listen, and learn....and hopefully stop attacking corgis.

Hmph.

No, that is not a muzzle. It is called a "halti" or something like that.

We use a Halti and I LOVE it. Cooper is a sled dog in the winter, pulling our fishing and hunting gear with a harness, so the halti puts a difinitive seperation of jobs, NO pull on walking with halti, pull with everything he's got with harness on lol.

I hope his corgi eating days are over...and I'm not the biggest fan of corgi's anyway :P

much love!

I have a Halti for Rocco and it doesn't stop him. He is truly a psycho dog. Hopefully the training works on Jersy! He sure is gorgeous. Maybe he knows it and is just trying to make sure all other dogs know it too- especially those stinkin', loud-mouthed Corgi dogs.

Halti collars are perfect! Used it with out very dominant Chesapeake. A strong firm no nonsense training method should bring him around. It worked for the Chesapeake! Nothing mean of course, just letting them know you are the pack leader. Good luck, Patty/BC. (trust he has been neutered?)
