WW-2 years ago

If you want to know just how much I love my (silly) dog, scroll down.

I am going to do something different for my Wordful Wednesday post this week. I am sure it is not a unique and original idea but if you want to do the same, go for it and leave me a message to let me know so I can see it.

I am going to show pictures taken on this day.

In the year 2007

February 11, 2007 we were here.

It was a cold and snowy weekend but this place is there and we wanted to feel like it was summer. Ok, it didnt feel like summer at all because we were indoors, but it was fun.

Even though it was freezing, we still wanted the boys to see The Falls. They had never been there and we had never seen it in the winter, so off we went. This is what we saw.

We saw ice and water. Alot of ice and spraying water. It is not enjoyable to be sprayed with water in -25 degree weather. It is not fun to stand outside with two young children whining about being cold while being sprayed with water.
Our memorable visit to see the Falls in the winter was about 30 seconds long. Long enough for me to run and take a few pictures and that was it.
A beautiful sight but much more beautiful inside a car. Or in the summer.

I have been to the Falls several times, but always during the summer. How very cool to see it during the winter months.

Great WW!

I have always wanted to go to Niagara Falls. However thanks for the advice about not going in the cold weather. LOL. I am not even the slightest fan of cold anything Haha so I feel your kids pain.

I think that is the first picture I've seen taken by someone who went to the falls. They remind me a bit of shoshone falls in the west. I'm always intrigued by nature's magestic formations.
