Prayer

MamaKat's prompts once again were great ones, but this week it was very easy to choose which one I would do.

Somebody I am praying for

Stellan

Sadly, I admit that I have never been a very religious person. I do not go to church every Sunday but always say that "I would like to".

But I do pray. Alot.

When my grandfather was ill and in the hospital, I prayed.

When my father in law was ill, I prayed.

When I hear of anyone going through a difficult time, I pray.

And since entering the unknown world of blogging, I have come to know many who have touched my life......some who have had great loss.......some who are going through tough times........some that need prayers.

Stellan needs prayers.

My hands are together praying for this beautiful boy to get well and go home to his family.

Prayer is for everyone. And it is such a blessing. I hope this little baby pulls through.

Prayer brings so much comfort, doesn't it? It's just too hard to bear it all alone.

I think it is so great that you pray! Maybe some day you will find a great church to be a part of. The one we attend is SO great for kids. Kaishon LOVES going every Sunday. Sometimes when I would rather stay home and do laundry, he convinces me to go. Have a wonderful week!

I'm glad you are joining in the chorus of voices crying out to God on Stellan's behalf. My heart is aching for him. If you have a desire to go to church, you should. I was feeling that way, but couldn't get my husband out of bed on Sundays. So I went alone one day and it changed my life forever. The sermon spoke directly to my heart as though it were written for me. Since then, I've grown in my relationship with Christ and found peace, joy and forgiveness. I pray now when I fear for a loved one's health, but also with thanksgiving, wisdom, guidance, strength, peace and that God's will and love be evident in my life. I encourage you to listen to your heart if it is crying out for God. And try talking to him about things other than healing - he wants to lend an ear to all your thoughts!

I pray for people in the blogging community too when I come across people in need or who are hurting. Heading over to Stellan's mom's blog now for an update.
