WW-Image means nothing

I have never been one to follow the trends. Well I follow them but never really get into them. I have my own style.

It's called the jeans and sweatshirt style.

I don't wear skinny jeans with ballet flats. I don't wear leg warmers. I don't wear heels with jeans. I don't have fancy hairdos and I don't spend alot of time in front of the mirror every morning.

I am a mother of three.

Need I say more?

Then there are my children. I want them to feel like they can dress in whatever the heck they want. I don't want them to worry about what they are wearing and what people will think of them when they see what they are wearing.

I want them to make their own decisions. Not wait for someone else to make the decision for them.

I want them to feel comfortable at all times.

I have much better things to do than pick out their clothes for them every morning.

Besides, I wear jeans and sweatshirts. Who am I to say what they wear is stylish when I just throw on the same look every day?

Look at this picture as an example.

It is an oldie but a goodie.

It was very hot.

And dry. No rain in sight.

Middle child put on this outfit. All by himself.

Rubber boots.

Heavy fleece pants.

And a tuque.

He did it all by himself. Not worrying about what others thought because he thought he was stylin. He made the decision without anyone else helping him and he was comfortable.

This trend will happen. You just wait. He is ahead of his time.

Love it! LOL. I have so many pics of my kids like this and they are priceless. We call them Frankenstein shots...not because they are scary, but because we love the freedom of expression, and they remind us of little Frankenstein, from Big Daddy.

Aww he looks cute. I try to let my son pick out his own clothes, but he does not have the fashion sense your son does. He never matches his colors.

I think he's just perfect! He's his own man and that's the best way to be. :)
