Snobs. Handkerchiefs. And chocolate.

The Prompts:

1.) Why did you do it?

Because I had to.

There was no other choice.

Really.

Ok. It was the alcohol. It makes me do some weird stuff.

2.) What is a common misconception about you?

Oooooooooo this is easy. Since I can remember I have been labelled as snobby. I am not snobby at all. I am shy. Extremely shy. If I do not know you then I am not comfortable around you and when I am not comfortable I am quiet. I think that is why I enjoy writing so much. Because I can be myself without worrying what others think about me. When I am forced to be in an uncomfortable situation I don't say much. Nuff said.

When I do get to know you, look out. I am the best friend you will ever have! And I like chocolate. What could be better than a non-snobby best friend who eats chocolate?

Yeah, I know.

Nothing.

3.) Describe a moment when you felt afraid.

I have many moments as I am generally a wimp and many things scare the heck out of me. Moments that come to mind are when

* my 2 year old son overdosed on over the counter cough syrup. True story. I will tell you about it sometime.

* the same son who overdosed got lost at a HUGE theme park. I wrote about it somewhere. Just cant find it. I guess that is what labels are for. I am new at this. Bare with me please.

* I was in labour and told there was no time for any pain medication. I was not out to be a hero. I wanted drugs!

* I got into a vehicle with my hubby for the first time. Yikes!

* I watched the television show "V". Remember when they ate live animals? And the green skin and blood? Ew.

* at 32 years old I went on a roller coaster. It was on that day that my age hit me like a ton of bricks. I am no longer able to tolerate the stuff that was fun as a teenager.

4.) In what ways are you turning into your mother?

I am turning into my mother in every way imaginable! It really is quite uncanny to see just how much I am like her. I talk like her. I look like her.

I remember as a kid my mom would disappear for 20 minutes every evening. She would head upstairs to get her jammies on and wash her face. I always thought that was the craziest thing ever. How long does it take a person to do their nightly routine? Really. She had a handkerchief that she would put on her head to keep her hair off of her face while doing her cleansing routine and it made me laugh.

Gosh she is old.

I will never do that. Ever.

Haha. I do the exact same thing! I disappear every night for 20 minutes to get my jammies on, put lotion on and wash my face. I don't have the lovely handkerchief but I do have a clip to take the hair off of my face.

So I guess there is one difference.

5.) Are you always right?

Yep.

Always.

100% of the time.

Snobby people are never wrong.

Wow you did all of them, Great post. You don't seem snobby to me, but I get that a lot too because I don't talk a lot when I first meet people.

You don't sound snobby to me! I was shy too, but everyone thought I was mean....oh well. Being like mom isn't so bad (when you get older)...I'm more and more like my mom everyday.

A non-snobby friend who loves chocolate? Now that's my type of friend!

Oh My ... your description of 2 could have been written by me! That is EXACTLY how I come off! My mother always said "you are such a snob" and I was like "I'm not. I'm shy." Blogging is such a good fit for me because, you know, I don't actually have to see and really TALK to anybody! I can just write with them! And I love chocolate too!

I'm really shy too, and I always come off a snob for it also.People just need to take the time to get to know people then they will see how great they are.
