Not me! Monday

Another marvelous Monday. Another chapter in my novel of things I did not do. It is a fiction novel because everything I do is filled with joy and smiles. There are no regrets. There is no embarrassment.

Really.

Like the other day when I saw a newborn baby girl. I absolutely did not think that maybe a fourth baby wouldnt be so bad. I didnt think that being pregnant wasnt that awful and I could handle another one in our life of chaos.

I did not watch the season finale of Grey's Anatomy and actually open my jaw in amazement. I mean, how do the writers think of this stuff?

My husband is not goofy. Not one little bit. He is serious. All of the time.

I did not let oldest child have gummy worms for breakfast because I am so sick of making pancakes. So what if they are toaster pancakes. A mom can make them only so many times before going nuts. I am sure gummy worms have some sort of nutritional value...........or maybe not.

I am not extremely angry at myself for forgetting about an Etsy show here in Toronto this past weekend. What kind of Etsy addict would forget about a local show? I dont even want to talk about it.

I did not drive this on the weekend. And if I did, my 5 year old certainly did not tell me how to drive it and yell at me for going too slow!

I did not fall up the stairs three times in one day. I did not laugh each time I did it.....after making sure no one saw me.

I do not enjoy pedicures. A couple hours to myself is not my idea of fun. And having pretty pink toenails does not make me feel...well....pretty.

I am not addicted to Etsy. And I am most definitely not addicted to Briarclaire. I have not seriously considered buying every product they sell because I love every single one. That would be silly.

I did not tell middle child to "Shut it" the other evening when he was whining so much that I had to actually leave the room. Only horrible mothers say things like that.

I am not a horrible mother. Most of the time.

And I never, ever feel guilty.

Happy Monday y'all!!!!!!

I am NOT a horrible mother either.
I do NOT like "sock it, lock it, put in your pocket" but sometimes that just doesn't cut it and a full fledged shut up, please for 2 minutes please just shut it does NOT fly!

Sounds like you had a pretty good week.

I would be totally intimidated to drive a tractor-like thing!

Hey, you've got the same foot tan lines I do. Or will. Someday when spring arrives. Fortunately, my pedi is sorta ok for right now. I'm SO not with you on that one.

Your toes look cute. I hope an etsy show comes to my area. I love homemade, more and more all the time.

We have a "if it's not bleeding, barfing or broken" rule at our house. If it's not on the 3 B's, then Mom doesn't want to hear about it.

I love pedicures, and nothing make you feel pretty like pink toenails.
We just confirmed that #4 is on the way... and I don't think it will be that bad. Morning sickness sucks, though.

I can't count the number of times I have told Reagan to shut it! Or zip it! I use that one a lot too!
