Tour Time

I am your Tour Guide, but you can call me Momma.

Today's tour is of my dining room. My dining room is actually a part of my kitchen so you are getting two tours for the price of one.

You're welcome.

Firstly, I have a sconce. A fancy word for "light that hangs on the wall". Actually we have two of these babys. Hubby picked them out and did a pretty darn nice job if I do say so myself.

Secondly, we have a window. A big one. And this is our view. A beautiful tree. And a farmer's field of recently planted carrots. I wont steal any..............

This is our table. Hubby forces us to cover it with a tablecloth because he is terrified it will actually get scratched and show wear. Geesh.

Next we have some pretty flowers that hubby bought me. No you cannot have him. And yes the flowers are real.

This is the view of the room. As you can see my dining room area is off to the side of the kitchen. Our kitchen table is situated at the tall island. And this view shows you our lighting and cathedral ceiling.

Now that will be $25 for the tour and as a tip I would appreciate some chocolate.

Thanks muchly.

Come back next week.

I've enjoyed your home tours! Your hubby did a great job on the sconces.

I would love a big huge farmers field of carrots as a view! AND, even though you didn't highlight it, I think your tile is great. At least, it looks great from the pictures!

Nice tour. It's a strange phenomenon to me to think of a husband that actually has an opinion on the home decor. Definitely a keeper. By the way, my blogging partner and I have been reading your stuff and have an award for you at our site.

Your home is lovely. I am jealous. I can't wait until we get to move out of this apartment and get one of our own!
