Dear Family,
Please, please, pullease empty your pockets before throwing your clothing on the floor in your laundry baskets because Momma does not check pockets before doing laundry.
I have told you this many times and would really appreciate it if you would follow the rules as I am tired of finding treasures after every load of laundry.
If you must leave treasures in your pockets I would love to find diamonds or cold hard cash.
As for the other stuff, I don't want any of it.

Sorry, I guess I was a bit luckier...I opened the dryer to get my husband's clothes and out fell $2! Yeah, he even let me keep it.
No kids yet so I'm sure the treasures will likely become less 'spendable'!

This week, as I pulled wet clothes out of the dryer, air-soft pellets rained down on the floor around me. I have an "I'm not checking your pockets" policy. Risky, but with three boys, I didn't like what my hand was going into when I used to check them.
Based on the washer full of pellets, maybe I should revise my policy?

Wow, I haven't found anything that exciting. Mostly paper, gum, mints...but I did find a $20 one day. I consider it payment for doing the laundry! :)

I find some strange things at times, but a few weeks back I found $40.00 in the hubby's pockets...cha ching! Payday!

We find the worst kind of treasures ... chap stick, lip gloss, gooey gobby candy, and my husband's security badge has been through the washer and dryer so many times I don't even know how it can possible work!
I have washed my husbands wallet twice and his cell phone once. So not my fault, he totally should have cleaned out his pockets.
i have washed my hubbys wallet, gum (that is the worst), needed receipts, and the dreaded phone!

Oh the scotch tape cracked me up! I found a key the other day but I usually just find money. And, I keep it! : )
