I tried to leave them there.....

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Once again I took my kids somewhere fun and educational.
It was my moms idea.

We toured this very old building (quite a few old buildings actually), complete with very small beds and blankets.

The boys were quite fascinated.

And I had a lightbulb moment as each boy yelled out of the window "I am in jail!".

Hmmmm..............

Shelter.
Bed.
Blankets.
Outhouse.

Maybe I could slip out of there and they wouldn't even notice.

They noticed.

They look just the tiniest bit....worried.

A guilty conscience -- the knowledge that they may just deserve to be in there?

What a fun place.... what tiny beds! Kids choose to be observant at the more inconvenient times, don't they?! :)

Yes, very funny post! I'm amazed that people used to live with everything so much smaller. Were people smaller? Or if you are making everything yourself do you just conserve materials by making things smaller on purpose?
