Mother Nature vs. Momma. Round #683

I give up.
I have lost.
Big time.
Mother Nature has proven once and for all that Momma can not win against her.
I am waving my white flag.
1,
2,
3.
Mother Nature has been declared the winner.

Why you ask?

Because of this.

And this.

And this.

She let me know that she was out to win this battle and no matter how much I complain and ask for better weather, she is the one in charge.
She makes all of the decisions.
She decides what the weather will be like.
No one else.

She belted us with a huge storm.

Wind so powerful it knocked three trees over on our property.

Rain so thick that we could barely see the trees in front of our home being knocked over.

Lightning so bright that we did not need candles.

Thunder so loud that it made even the old dog jump.

An eventful night.

And Mother Nature provided the entertainment.

But I would not call it enjoyable entertainment.

I have learned my lesson.

I will never again complain about the weather because what we experienced last night was pretty darn scary.

A little rain here and there isn't so bad. Cool weather in the summer is just fine with me.

Sun? Who needs it anyways?

I love you Mother Nature.

I am sorry for all of my whining.

And oh yeah.

Thanks so much for giving us this last night after knocking over my favourite tree.

Wow! I am glad that it was only trees that you lost. Mother Nature, she can be mean sometimes but at the same time beautiful.

Yikes! That must have been some scary storm. Glad the lightening hit your tree and not your house. I can't imagine the noise it made when it did.

wow! The storm we had all night and most of the morning was nothing compared to that. I just used it as an excuse to sleep in. That would have been scary and our pom would have hated it. Glad you guys are okay!

Beautiful sunset. And I'm so sorry about the trees. Does Canada always have such crazy weather in the summertime?
