Not Me! Monday!

Miss me? I thought so. That's why I am back because I knew your Mondays weren't the same without me.

((hugs))

I just haven't had anything to write about. My life is like a well scripted love story. So to fill you in on things that didn't happen to me....things that could potentially embarrass me just couldn't happen.

Until this week.

I did not dance to Lady GaGa while holding Princess and get so dizzy that we both fell to the floor. It did not happen. Nope. No way.

But.....if it did happen, Princess did not scream at me and hit me smack dab in the cheek causing me to get tears in my eyes.

None of that happened. Really.

While shopping at a "gently used" children's clothing store this past week, I did not get so fed up chasing Princess that I put her in a Pack N' Play so I could shop in peace. That's not what it was there for. It was there so people could purchase it, not for frustrated Mommas to use as a babysitter.

I have not played Bejewelled Blitz approximately 621 times in 5 days. I have better things to do with my time.

The Tooth Fairy did not forget to come to our house after middle child lost his first tooth. But.......if she did, she was smart enough to leave a note that said "For Rowdy. Love the Tooth Fairy" with $20 on the kitchen table before he awoke for the day.

Smart gal isn't she????

I think so.

I have not had nightmares every night since seeing this.

While visiting a family friend who tragically lost her husband of 4 months just a few weeks ago, I did not say "How are you?". I mean, I know how she is. She is terrible. She just lost the love of her life unexpectedly so her answer is kinda predictable. I know better than to ask such an awkward question. Geesh.

I am not devastated over the loss of Johnny Castle, aka Patrick Swayze.

Ok, I am. He was the star of one of my favourite movies of all time.

Happy Monday to all my bloggy peeps!

I have to agree that Lady Gaga's performance was VERY frightening and I totally did not get it.

And so sad about Patrick. Some time you and I should get together and have a Dirty Dance, wine drinking, sleep over in his memory.

A well-scripted love story huh? I'm jealous.

And I literally LOL'd when you did NOT put princess in the pack and play. Nobody puts princess in the pack and play! OK, that was a lousy attempt at recreating a most loved line of Dirty Dancing- Nobody puts baby in the corner!

Sorry.

I love that you used the pack-n-play in the store. That is such a good idea! :)

Great post... Lady Gaga's songs are awesome... but seeing her on stage... whole other story! And I, too, was so sad about Patrick Swayze's passing... Dirty Dancing is one of my most favourite movies ever!

This is sad... I had to look up "pack-n-play"... I didn't know what it was! When I was a kid it was called a playpen. Oops. =)

Happy Monday.

Yeah, Lady Gaga is good as long as you don't have to SEE her. OY!

Patrick Swayze's passing makes me very sad too. WAAAAH!

I did not get Lady Gaga's performance...wierd and disturbing.

So sad about Patrick Swayze, Dirty Dancing is one of my all time favorites too.

Lady Gaga is one freaky lady! But here stuff is strangely danceable and compelling.

And $20 for a tooth!!! HOLY COW! For that kind of dough, I'll knock out my own teeth!

And I make inappropriate remarks to people in sad situations all the time ... like I'll be telling a story and say "I could have died." So awkward.

And Patrick Swayze ... I love that he and his wife were high school sweethearts and stayed married until the end.

I haven't had nightmares of a bloody Lady Gaga floating above my bed reaching her hands toward my throat. Nope, not at all.
