Children....hay bale....pumpkin farm.....disastrous picture

Once upon a time, a nice, loving family went to the pumpkin farm.
Momma tried to take a nice fall picture of all three children together.
Momma and Mr. Momma spent minutes persuading them to jump up on the hay bale. Then they placed each child in the perfect position for the perfect picture. This was the result.

We will try again next year.

Dang kids, always using there own wills! Jokes! I think it is a natural looking picture...I can't get mine to hold still either! I mostly capture pictures when they aren't paying attention!

Well, if they're anything like my kids, people wouldn't recognize them if they were sitting nicely and smiling all sweetly! Sounds like a great time ~ and I'm sure the memories that photo captured will last a lifetime!

LOL! I love those hay bale photos; the kids always look so cute and the final image is rustic, yet adorable! But I'm sure that EVERY time I try one of those, it will turn out exactly like yours!

But it's a great shot! At least everyone is happy :)

looks like a perfect kid photo to me, or as good as it gets :) If you want to come on by and meet Jack I’m home.

I always chuckle when I see parents trying to get their unruly bunch to pose for a group shot. I chuckle, because I have been there one too many times!

Still cute!

Happy PSF!

It may not be what you were going for, but pictures like this show the personality a little more.

Funny! What is it about pumpkin patches and uncooperative children?

"Perfect Pictures" are nice, but shots like these have the great stories!

I think it is still cute!

When we were at the corn maze there was this little baby (about 1 year-old) REFUSING to cooperate. Screaming his lungs out in protest of the picture. I went behind the Mama trying to take the picture and made funny faces. It worked ... he wasn't screaming in the picture and was looking at the camera. I guess I wasn't funny (or shocking enough) to get a smile out of the baby. Silly kids. Don't they know that in 25 years from now they will have wanted to have a picture where they were looking at the camera (at least one)?

It's still a great picture and at least they're all pretty much facing forward.

At least it captures the moment, right? And those are definitely some genuine smiles!

P.S. There's a "lovely" award for you over on my blog. :)
