I wish I had a "Delete" button

Some days I wish I had amnesia because there are many, many experiences I would like to forget. Many I wish I could erase from my memory and just push the "delete" button.

Imagine having access to a delete button whenever you wanted. Oooooooooooooooo......

I could delete the time I decided to wear the emerald ring my Nanny gave me to school, even though it was 10 sizes too big and I lost it in the grass.

Or the time I fell getting out of the bathtub on to the rails for the sliding doors.

Or the time I screwed up during a huge dance recital....and it was videotaped...and shown on television.

Or the time I wore this outfit.

Actually, I would delete all of my high school years if I could. Sad, but true.

But the experience that comes to mind as a huge screw up and moment that just makes me cringe happened last year. I was in my eighth month of pregnancy, we were having a house built and preparing to put our other house up for sale. I was decluttering the house and filling bags to send to the thrift store. I had one bag of clothes to go. One bag of snowsuits etc to go. And one bag of things I was going to go through at a later date.

You know what's going to happen right?

I never did go through the bag of things labelled "Go through at a later date" because I apparently lost my brain and gave it to my unborn baby. Instead, I put them outside with the bags labelled "To Go" and they were all taken away by a man in a big white truck and taken to the Land of Who the Heck Knows.

What was in that bag you ask?

Mr. Momma's $1000 new leather snowmobile suit. Leather coat. Leather pants. $1000.

Gone.

Sent away.

In a garbage bag.

Oops.

I bet MamaKat isnt that stupid

Mr. Momma doesn't need it anymore anyway. No big deal. Plus think of all of the crap you got rid of. Small price to pay. Why were you doing all of that work when you were pregnant anyway?

Oh man! That does suck. Let it go... it fulfilled a bigger purpose we can't see or understand yet. :-)

That's totally something that I would do.

I think you look like the height of fashion for the year. :)

I would totally still be kicking myself over that one. I know because I've done things very similar to that and I'm still mad at myself. Is Bluegrass Daddy your hubby? If so- wow and awwww!

Wow. that's pretty serious. Yikes. I've done dumb things like that. It has everything to do with being pregnant. It sucks your brain right out! =)

Pregnacy does a number on us, especially our brains.

Oh and the sweaters are back in style!

Wow— lost your brain eh…

But on the brighter side, you didn't have to worry about where to put them when you moved.

I think we all wish we had a delete button too. Thanks for sharing.

Ouch.

Yeah. And yet, once it is done what can you do? Nothing.

Hopefully that will be the only and last thing like that that ever happens in your life. :)

I have given away my favorite pair of pants once but never something that was actually worth money. That sucks. I want a delete button too.

Pregnant brains are very dangerous. If I could delete my high school years too, I would. I fell on the rails too...hit the back of my knee. It mad a huge deep purple bruise.

That sucks. Blame it on pregnancy insanity, but it is totally something that I would do. That delete button would be fantastic, by the way...

Oh no. I'm sure someone else appreciated it though. And you can always use pregnancy hormones as your delete button. :)
