Tattoos.

The world is going to come to an end unless you get a tattoo that covers your entire back. Describe the tattoo you’ll get.

I have never been one for tattoos, only because when I am an old wrinkly, saggy gal, I think tattoos would look....well....wrinkly and saggy.

Eww.

But when I saw MamaKat's prompt, I did some thinking.

I like flowers. Lilies are my favourite and they are pretty.
I also like butterflies.
And chocolate.
And People magazine.

Then I got serious and thought it would be nice to have some sort of tribute to family members who have been loved and lost.
But I would also want some sort of tribute to those who are still here.

I could have something that represents my kids.

Yes, thats it.

Because I love them more than anything.
And they are my life.
And totally worth covering my back with ink.
And letting it get old and wrinkly.

I love them that much.

So this is what I would have copied on to my back.
My entire back.
Covered with this picture.

My 3 children.
Holding hands.
Getting along.

Because it rarely happens.

It would be totally worth it...except the neck strain from having to look over your shoulder as you gaze into the full length mirror to see the tattoo.

Oh yeah, there's the pain of that needle.

That would make an awesome tattoo. The first photo, that is. The second photo should be tattooed on your upper arm. ;)

That is a great idea and the first picture would be perfect. I however would get the Twin Towers with the Statue of Liberty off to one side with the base of all three wrapped in a flag print. When all that happened it broke my heart and I will never forget watching that on TV.

Yeah, no tattoos for me. That's the worst accessory for a fat, roly poly body. :)

Over from Mama Kat's....

Love both pics. Maybe you should frame them together instead of getting the tattoo?

I adore tattoos, so long as they have a meaning behind them and they're not "just because". I can't stand tattoos that were "Oh I like that, lets get that put on my body forever". It's annoying.

I have 9 now, 8 are on my back. Every single one of them have a meaning behind them for me.

I love the picture of your children holding hands. It's very sweet.

That would make a lovely tattoo. All in black silhouette.

What about a pair of wings? That might be a cool back tat.

Awwwwwwwww. I love this post. So sweet. Laughed out loud about loving them so much you would get them on your back that is bound to get old and wrinkly.

So sweet! I am the same way, no stretched out saggy tattoos here!

hehe. Hopped on over here from Mama Kats. Cute pictures - not sure if I'd get a tat, regardless of what it was.

I think that would be a terrific tattoo.

Very nice choice! Why not preserve one perfect fleeting never to return moment, right?
