HaveYouEver

Gosh. Gee. Golly.
Another week has passed by and before we know it, summer will be over.

Crap. I better start enjoying my children more before they leave me every day for a full day at school. What will I do with myself?

Anyways.............

Have you ever felt like you just couldn't find your balance {in life}?

And found yourself falling constantly {in life}?
Please tell me I am not the only one overwhelmed with difficult children, a million chores and no time.

Have you ever wished you could wear a bikini with confidence?

Or even a tank top?

Have you ever wondered what Mel Gibson is thinking right now?

Have you ever wondered when War will end?

Have you ever heard of Brian Collier?

He is the latest soldier to be killed in Afghanistan and he is from my town.
Please say a prayer for his family and loved ones during this very difficult time.

Yes on many of these and no on Brian. I'll be praying for his family right now. We lost a soldier in Iraq five years ago. It still haunts our town. Every other day his best friend's son walks by our house. He's almost the same age as my son and he's named after the soldier who died. . .we can never forget him or the sacrifices.

So sad about the soldier. And that bikini picture...I really hope it's a fake!

No, you aren't the only one with (a) difficult child(ren) and no time to spare. Promise.

No, I didn't know about Brian (saying prayers right now) and yes, am wondering when the world will regain it's sanity.

Think we've all felt this way (daily, if you're me) and wondered if we are alone. Luckily? Sadly? We're not. So many boys like Brian these days, every one of them sad.

Sadly, I didn't even know there were Canadian soldiers over there. So tragic.

Thanks for the reminder to pray. It's all too easy to get caught up in our own little corner and forget about the soldiers putting their life on the line every day.

I just love how you have such a mix of funny and touching in this post.

I'm so sorry for that poor young soldier. It is such a waste for these young lives to be cut short like this.
