My daughter is a genius.
You see, the boys have had many puzzles. Many puzzles that were used once and then thrown to the side because they preferred the real tractor instead of cut up pieces of one.
I dreamt of the day I could sit down with my son(s) and we could calmly work on a puzzle together.
Never happened. Ever.
But anyways, Princess was given a puzzle in her stocking because Santa hoped that maybe...just maybe one of my children would be able to sit down for more than 3.4 seconds.
She wanted it open while I was busy cooking her lunch so I opened it up, dumped out the 15 pieces and let her be.
No instructions.
No demonstrations.
Just a pile of pieces on the kitchen table.
She sat.
For longer than 3.4 seconds.
Quietly.
Calmly.
She completed the entire puzzle!!!!!!!!!!
So I gave her some.

That is AWESOME! Proof positive of how different girls are, huh?
I would give her jelly beans too. That's terrific! I wish my boy could do that too, but he's just like a ... boy. ;)
Hahaha! She IS a good helper! She put together all the broken pieces, she totally deserves those jelly beans.
My youngest and oldest like puzzles. The middle two- not so much.
This difference of boys and girls, I know exactly of what you speak!
What a bright girl!! Isn't it amazing how some children love puzzles and others not so much. It really highlights the difference in children. She deserves those jellybeans!
She is definitely a smart girls! Cute pics.
How wonderful! I love it when children enjoy puzzles!!!! I would have given her jelly beans too. Moments like that are real heart-melters. :)
Yay!!! I think puzzles are great and I'm glad you finally got a kid that likes them!
My boys will sit and do puzzles. Wait, I probably shouldn't be telling you this right now. ;P But then your boys also have REAL tractors to play with so...
I'm so glad it kept her busy and that she is SO SMART!! :)
