Joy.

Invite 14 friends.
Rent a trampoline place.
Order pizza.
Buy a cake.
Allow 14 kids to jump....and leap....and flip....and flop.
Before the pizza and cake of course.

Lots of smiles.
A million giggles.
Pure joy.

Watching my children experience joy makes me feel...um....joyful.

Oh, I am SO glad it was so fun!

We did the same thing four years ago for a combined birthday for Isaac and Gracie. Not even ten minutes into it and one of Isaac's friends landed funny on the trampoline and broke her wrist. That part stunk, but the rest of it was good. Geez.

They just started advertising for a trampoline place here. It looks fun but like Cecily, we have experienced a broken bone on a trampoline and I'd hate to watch that happen at a party. Glad all of your guests left uninjured and everyone had fun!

What a neat photo!
And, what a fun party!
My sister had my nephew's 5th birthday at a place like that and it was a total blast for all of the kids (and easy clean up for my sister. BONUS!)

Joy is really something, isn't it?

Joy is different than happiness. It surrounds us and envelops us. It's a deeper emotion, and it's effects linger long after it's cause has passed. We feel joy like we feel sunlight -- or softly falling rain.

And if it's pure joy, there's nothing better. :)

Don't you love that feeling you get when your kids are so happy? Glad they (and you) had a great time!

Sounds like the recipe for the perfect birthday party!
