Carrotfest and a Cuterebra.

Guys, the other kitten had a cuterebra and now the hole it left behind is all stinky and pus-sy and she keeps rolling around in gravel and dirt.
I am so done with this.
I wanted to be the crazy cat lady, but now I am just going crazy because of these cats.
Why?  Why must gross fly-thingies come around our place?
Cant we all just live happily ever after without having to pull living creatures out of my kitten's neck?

Cant hubby buy me a small house in town?
We could meet up every once in awhile, but I wouldn't have to deal with all of this country crap.
Sounds good, right?

Anyways, lets talk about Ike and Duke the horses.

I am convinced they are famous.
I think everyone in our small-ish town knows who Ike and Duke are...and if they don't, I tell them.
Last weekend our town held their annual street festival.
This area is known as the vegetable growing capital of Ontario, so I guess it was the natural thing to call it Carrotfest.

And, in my opinion, every town needs a Carrot as it's mascot.
Don't you agree?

Ike and Duke took part in this special day by delivering hundreds...heck, I am even going to say thousands of human creatures from the parking area to the main attraction.

Through traffic.
Intersections.

I am pretty sure they went back and forth about 72 times that day.
Over 1.2 km every time.
You do the math.
Lets just say if I did that {just a few times}, I would be dead right now.

But not Ike and Duke.
They were pros.
Stars.
Athletes.
Sweaty giants.

And just napped while people got off and on the wagon.

Not even waking up for the paparazzi.

Because when you're famous, you can do that.

Oh Ike and Duke are surely famous I love that. I live in Ontario and I have yet to meet them, I guess I am going to have to find out where the carrot festival is:)
That looks like a lot of fun. A nice house in town made me think I have been there:) B

Just a quick note to let you know that starting tomorrow, I will begin hosting a new photo meme on my blog. Please come join me at "Orange You Glad It's Friday", and post a photo displaying a little or a lot of orange, my favorite color! Hope to see you there!

I did not click on cuterebra because I'm afraid of what I might find. It sounds bad.

And Ike and Duke should be treated like the celebrities they are!!! They are gorgeous animals!
