Halloween Questions. Answered.

I am just going to come out and say it. Halloween is not my favourite time of the year. Yes, I like pumpkins and all things autumn-ish and orange, but when it comes to dressing up and being all scared and stuff, it's just not my thing.
I am a big wimp and totally not afraid to admit it.
I do not have any pics of me dressed up as an adult because it doesn't happen. Maybe I should work on that and change myself.
I have issues.........
So I give you this. Me as a kid. Dressed up as Madonna or a punk rocker or....crap, I don't know.
Notice how I am hiding because I hated dressing up and thought I looked foolish.
1. Do you believe in ghosts?
Ghosts as in the soul or spirit of a deceased person? Yes. Because, in some weird way, it comforts me to think that deceased loved ones are nearby.
Ghosts as in scary, mean, ooly ghouly things?  No. Because I choose not to be scared and wont let myself "go there".

2. Do you prefer the cute or the scary Halloween?
Cute. I do not enjoy being scared.
Hubby and I went to see Paranormal Activity 4 the other night and clenched our sphincters throughout the entire movie waiting for the scary parts. It was horrible.

3. How old were you when you stopped trick or treating?
I think by 12 or 13 I would just go out with friends to hang out and maybe egg people. Then I would steal my brothers candy when he wasn't looking.

4. Do you have any fun Halloween traditions?
I am a horrible parent.
We don't carve pumpkins because we live out in the country and don't get any trick or treaters.  And because all they kids do is fight.
We don't decorate.  Because the kids fight.
We don't make any crafts.  Because the kids fight.
But we do go trick or treating and eat alot of candy.
That counts, right?

5. Share a scary local urban legend.
Me bad. I don't know of any.
But,  this is where you can find some haunted places in Ontario.  Go see them.  Because I wont be.

6. Would you rather be haunted or haunting?
Haunting.
I want to remain in your consciousness forever.
I never want to be forgotten.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

7. What's your favorite Halloween character/ creature? (Dracula, witch, ghost, etc)
Michael Myers.  Only because he makes me so scared I almost poop my pants.

Happy friggin Halloween!

AH! I can't even say that guys name. Too scary for me! haha!
It's ok, not a lot of people like halloween. I hate being scared. A little scared is ok, but not a lot scared. Nope.

I'm with you about not liking scary things. I just don't like anything which comes accompanied by a bad, eerie, anxious feeling. I like the fun, cutsie, creative side of halloween.

I also believe that people have spirits that continue on after they die. But no way do I believe that these spirits hang around and haunt people who are still living. That's just creepy. And Morbid. And Doesn't make any sense to me.

13 is definitely the age where kids stop trick or treating. Or should. My 14 year-old son doesn't even think he needs a costume any more. In fact, I think he wants to go paint-balling on Halloween.

Kids grow up really fast.

Funny photo! I feel the same way about Halloween. I DON'T like to be scared so of course I hate haunted houses and horror movies. I live in the country so I can't let those scary images fill my head haha!

Happy Halloween! - I love this holiday. Not the real horror stuff though. I don't mind some scary but the gory stuff isn't my cup of tea.

I like it because of the candy. Which reminds me, I need to get another piece now.
