I thought about passing up a New Year's post, because, quite frankly, 2012 sucked balls and I want to just let it run its course without saying goodbye or reminiscing.
But...... then I saw my dear bloggy friend post this and had to join in. Because I am a follower and just want to fit in with the cool folks. I am not afraid to admit it.
January
Middle child turned 8
Daughter decided that wearing swimming goggles in the tub was "cool". Who am I to argue with her???
That's all I remember.
February
Oldest child turned 10
My Daddy celebrated his 61st birthday while very sick.
We got snow.
Studley the dog was still alive.
That's all I remember.
March
We went on a farm tour. Jealous?
It was warm enough for shorts and sandals.
We went to the maple sugar bush.
Bought the boys a new basketball net. They loved it for about 4 days.
Umm....that's all I remember.
April
Green started to sprout on the trees.
Studley the dog was still running!!
Daughter turned 4!
Hubby turned 30 something.
My daddy became an Angel in Heaven.
May
I tried to forget my birthday
Spent Mothers Day with my favourite Mothers.
Went to the zoo with my littlest monkey.
Was visited by a yellow bird many times. I am convinced it was a sign from my Daddy.
That's all I remember.
June
Smokey the cat had babies
Oldest child played basketball
Middle child started ball hockey
Daughter started soccer
Annnd.....she graduated from Nursery School.
That's all I remember.
July Studley joined my Daddy in Heaven.
The family went tubing.
I spent every minute with the kittens.
Ike and Duke the horses were in a wedding.
We went to Niagara Falls.
We spent most of our time at the beach.
That's all I remember...which is quite a bit if you ask me.
August
Ike and Duke the horses were in a local festival.
Grandpa turned 96.
We swam....boated....canoed...BBQed....and enjoyed the last days of summer.
That's all I remember.
September
We went to the Fall Fair.
First day of school. I am the Momma of a 3rd grader, 5th grader and a Junior Kindergartner. Hold me.
Blackie the cat had her babies.
Jersey the dog joined our family.
That's all I remember.
Jersey got sick and cost us tons of money in vet bills. Good thing he is cute.
Thanksgiving.
Planted a tree in memory of dad. I just know it will be the prettiest tree in the world.
Halloween. Army dude, clown and a cat.
That's all I remember.
November
12th wedding anniversary for hubby and I.
Photo session with the nieces.
Jersey needed stitches which cost us tons of money in vet bills...again.
That's all I remember. Honest.
December
I shopped....and shopped....and shopped.
Photo day at dance class.
Christmas. Huge success except Santa gets all of the credit.
That's it.
That's all I remember.
Good riddance 2012.
Bring on 2013.
