Photostory Friday- Tale of the troubled tot

A warning before you view the following pictures.

You may feel sorry for this child. You may want to hug him and hold him tight and tell him everything is going to be ok. You may want to kiss his boo-boo and love him up until he feels better.

You may wonder what on earth happened to him to make him so upset. You also may wonder why on earth his terrific Momma snapped pictures while he was "hurting".

No, he did not break his arm. Or his toe. Or even his fingernail. He did not lose his best friend or get his feelings hurt by his big brother (this time). He wasn't over tired, over stimulated or over anxious.

Momma telling him he could not have a piece of gum caused this.

"NO MORE GUM!" is the reason for my son's meltdown.

It's tough being a kid.

Oh the horror! Blogs provide a superb outlet for teenage blackmail, no? Pull up those old posts for their friends to view later on. ;)

What is it with gum? My daughter does the SAME. exact. thing! I don't know why I'm just saying my daughter, because my 7 year old boy does the same thing, too. Life is full of drama - little do they know. Ha!

Thanks for dropping by & wishing me congrats on the grandbaby! I can't wait to see her! I wish I had a better quality pic of the last pic because I'd play with it, make it even more beautiful, print it & frame it for him & us. I'll probably do that anyway because it deserves a frame! Made me cry to see it!

Funny that you were snapping pictures during his melt down....I'm sure all blogger's kids will have stories to tell when they are older that include ones about "horrible" things happening to them,... "but mom, she made sure she caught it all in pictures for her freakin blog!"

Just kidding, hopefully they will be able to appreciate our efforts to record everything here.

One little thing can set them off, right? At least you have it documented for future use! ;-)

Okay, love that my toddler is not the only "Drama king". And love even more that you took pictures of this meltdown! Mine had one this morning because I did the meanest thing. I made him walk barefoot to the house from the car on very cold ground because I want him to QUIT taking his shoes and socks off everytime we get in the car. I secretly felt terrible, but it was a short walk and I'd tried everything else to change the behavior! Hopefully it works. But I take comfort in the fact that he would have been equally upset if I said no more fruit snacks, LOL!
