Now and then

What happened in the last year? Write about something you can do now that you couldn't do a year ago.

Ooooo..... MamaKat gave out some doozies this week but this is the prompt I am going with because, well, I can't think of any ideas for the other prompts. She is making this blogging thing difficult. I mean, I actually have to think about what I am writing. Who would have thought?

Thanks MamaKat for keeping my brain cells from completely going to mush.

So here goes.

Something I can do now that I couldn't do a year ago........

I can take care of three little munchkins instead of two.
A year ago at this time Princess was still in my tummy and I thought life was busy raising two rambunctious boys. I thought that adding another child to the mix wouldn't even be noticed. She would just fit right in and life would go on as if nothing had changed.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........yes, I was really that stupid.

2 rambunctious boys + newborn baby = A BIG CHANGE

And to top it all off we had a baby girl!
I have never had a baby girl before. What do girls do? Girls mean girl hair. I will have to do her girl hair. Girls mean screaming and screeching. Girls mean drama.

Right?

I have boys. I have only been around boys.

What the heck do I do now?

Add in breastfeeding, no sleep, moving to a new house and pink stuff. Alot of pink stuff.

And a new baby girl!

I now have three children!

In the last year I have birthed a girl. I have not had much sleep. I have continued to nurture my boys (with some yelling along the way). I have watched my baby girl smile, roll over, sit and stand. I still have a husband even though he probably wanted to run away many, many times. I have had wonderful moments as a mom of three and some not so wonderful moments.

But......

I am proud to say that I have done it all without completely losing my mind (yet) and still keeping a husband. *claps*

A huge change from a year ago.

A huge accomplishment.

Yay Momma
!

Hug me. I have three kids. It is a good thing I like boys and I really like pink.

I really enjoyed your now and then. Things change so quickly don't they?

I had the same delusion that adding one more to make three would be the same...just one more....what an idiot. And so were the idiots that told me three was easier than two.
Congrats on your accomplishments/more lovin.
I also want to congratulate you on how many followers you have now! - I am jealouse. I think we started out about the same for a while. I am up to 12...you are really rockin the bloggosphere!!! *Clap*

I thought the same thing as you, One more wont be any different. Lordy Lordy was I ever wrong! Apparently they are not like dogs. With dogs, that theory works. When we had 2 dogs and added one more, nothing changed. I was fooled!

LOL!! It is after you have had 3 that one more doesn't make much of a difference! I have 4, adding #5 sometime soon (fingers crossed). If you have 2 and add one more it does make a difference!

Gotta love the pink, though.

I am not going to answer you about the girls mean more drama. You don't need to know that yet.

I hear you ... I had my 3rd this past year and luckily for our bank account it was another boy so we didn't have to go get all pink and frilly things... but at the same time, you have a little girl... how lucky are you?! Congrats!
