3 Things You Will Love to Know About Me.

I have to admit that this was a tough one to think up because you know pretty much everything about me. Well, everything you need to know.

You know that I love chocolate. And Blistex. And gossip magazines.

You know that I eat banana on my eggs. Take alot of pictures. And love shoes.

You know that I have dry feet. Hate bluegrass music. And wanted to be Laura Ingalls.

What else is there to know? Like really?

Momma's life is like an open book. I keep nothing from you.

Except these three things. And now I share them on this special day. Sit down while I let you in on a few more things about moi that you dont already know.

Here goes.

*deep breath*

I am an avid scrapbooker. By avid, I mean addicted. And by scrapbooker I mean "album maker". I am not one to spend 30 minutes on one page with one picture but I have every single picture since 2004 in an album...in order.....with journalling to go with it and some pretty paper to decorate the page simply.

"Simple" is how I describe my albums. If my pics are in order, in an album I am happy. I dont have to sit beside everyone looking and explaining who is in the pictures, where it is and what was happening because it is all written down.

70 years from now when I am hanging out with Michael Jackson, my grandchildren can look at my albums and know exactly what happened in 2004.

That makes me happy.

Yes. I am crazy. No I do not have OCD.

Family albums for every year, baby albums, school albums, gift albums I have done for others, digital albums. You name it, I have done it.

Don't ask how much I have spent on supplies because that might make me stop and just throw my pictures in a shoebox.

I enjoy colouring.

Yep. Uh huh. You read that right.

I find it relaxing and somewhat therapeutic.

I feel a sense of accomplishment when my picture is finished and looks pretty frickin awesome.

I know.

I need to get myself a life.

And last but certainly not least, I dislike long toenails.

Eww.

I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time I see people with feet like this.

My apologies if you have feet like this.

Whatever floats your boat.

I dont judge. But just dont play footsies with me k?

OMG, I just threw up my coffee in my mouth a little looking at those feet. LOL! I really hate feet, including my own. I love your list. And I love your blog. Consider me your latest follower. I can't wait to go read more of your thoughts - especially after a glimpse of your "non-mommy" thoughts....oh, I have those EVERY day! By the way, I found you via the blog hop. ~Mandy

You sound just like me! All of the above. I drive my hubby batty putting pictures in albums and having them in chronological order. He says why can't you just put them in there. i can't do random. I do have ocd but i deal with it a lot better now than I used to. My big thing is I do have a ton of pics from before momy days that are in rubbermaid containers because every time i bring them out to put them in albums I get overwhelmed with too many catergories and can't stand trying to get them right. But i have every picture from our wedding and up in albums and organized.

OK...those toenails are DISGUSTING. I seriously felt a little sick after seeing them.

And I envy you and your albums ... my son's baby scrapbooks stops at 4 months old. Not kidding about that.

And ever since I had my son, I too have gotten in touch with my inner colorer. The benefits of being a mom!

OMG THOSE TOES! WHO DOES THAT?

I tried to do the album thing, I have 4 big huge ones full of pics from the time my 1st son was born and he was 6 months old....and those were only my favorites!! Can I send you the rest and pay you to do them? lol

And I LOVE to color too, I get those big poster size ones, and I whip that out when the boys are in bed and go to it...it is relaxing!

I am so with you. The toenail thing is gross. And I love to color too.

Icky toenails. Fun post - thanks.

My 12-year-old daughter was reading Blog Hop entries with me. She read the title of your blog out loud: Live. Laugh. Pull Your Hair Out? She was momentarily puzzled then saw the pictures. Then she said "Oh, she has kids." in a tone that says that explains everything. She just smiled and said, "I like that title."

great post! I'm with you on the photo thing. It does run costly when you take thousands of photos a year and want to archive each one in an album and give them to everyone you know. Time. Money. Sanity. But I love it.
Love the coloring too. It is relaxing. Good I have a 4 year old daughter as an excuse for me to do it.

Found you from the blog hop.

I love your list. I am an avid scrapbooker but am one that will take 2 hours on a page if that is what it needs. I wish I could do simple things but I just can't.

I love to color also. It is VERY therapeutic and relaxing.

The toenailes are so GROSS! Disgusting. I couldn't even look at them for very long. Nasty.

Eeeew, those toenails gross me out!! I hate long gross dirty toenails but someone painting them is just plain weird!

OMG- where have you ever seen feet like that. ROFL! I am just as addicted to pictures as you- have you made the albums on snapfish where you can write comments and everything- so cool! Nice to "meet" you on this blog hop!

Long toenails are just not my thing either. You'd need to go up 1/2 a shoe size for the bad boys you posted here.

happy hop:)

I'm totally with you on the toenails.
Yuck!

Maybe your boys get their energy from you. Because it would take a lot more energy than I have to put all my pictures in albums. Although ... I organize them into photo books. With journaling. By year. That just seems to be a lot less involved than physical albums. But it is very fun. And the books are great. You might like it. I use www.blurb.com. Their prices are fantastic and the quality is professional. Now I'm just working on scanning pictures of myself and my husband from when before there were digital cameras. What a pain. But someday I will have photobooks of our lives too. I'm talking 440 pages per book. And I can print multiple copies for posterity. :)

Totally thought those were your toes for a second and I about freaked out! Wow, that's something. Not a fan of the long toes, painted or not!

Love scrapbooking too. Have a whole collection of items ranging from the $1 bin to pricey Stampin' Up stuff.

We have a lot in common. I too love to scrapbook, but I would also love to have the time to get back at it! I also think that picture of the foot was gross!!!! I accidentally scrolled down too fast, and I saw the picture before reading what you wrote about it.....Forgive me, I was thinking it was your foot.

Eeeeuuwwhhh!

Those toes - I did not even think I had a problems with long toe-nails, until I saw those!

Scrapbooking - I am a digi-scrapper. Ever tried it?

Happy bloghop from N Ireland.

I am afraid to start scrapbooking for the very reasons you described. Between that and the blogging my children would be in danger of becoming feral children.

All I can think about is the toenails. Blech! Okay, let me recompose myself, deep breath, okay, good. I used to scrapbook too, then I started working out instead, got tired of that, realized junk in the trunk is more fun, and got into blogging. I'm possibly a little ADD. And, I suck at coloring. Ask my kids.

Um yea, NASTY.

But I am one of those that takes 20...I mean...60...or 90 minutes to finish one page. That MAY be why I'm sooooo far behind.
