Brain....where are you???

An Island Life

I have been a mother for approximately 7 years, 5 months and 24 days if you really want to know.
My brain left me approximately 7 years, 5 months and 24 days ago.
What is left is "mush", with a few cobwebs here and there.

Sad huh?

Now that I am raising my third toddler all hope for me is gone and any wish I had to regain my brain cells was lost when I was up every night for approximately 9 1/2 months.

Sad huh?

This toddler needs to eat.
And I do not know what to feed her.

So help me out.
What do you feed a 15 month old?
Meal ideas?
Healthy ideas?

The rotation of peanut butter on toast, pancakes, grilled cheese and Kraft Dinner is getting old quickly.

My brain thanks you.

My 20 month old loves lots of different things. Watermelon, grapes (cut up), tomato's and mandarin oranges. All things he loves to eat, plus ham and hot dogs are high on his list.

My daughter is 15 months old and is a way better eater than her 28-month-old brother (I could use some real help with him!).

But she enjoyed her first slice of a chicken parm sub last night. She also loves oatmeal, bananas, scrambled eggs, chicken nuggets, green peppers, french fries, yogurt, hot dogs, strawberries. A lot of typical toddler fare. We still struggle to get both kids to eat a good variety, but try to emphasize that we'd like them to just try a taste of whatever Mom and Dad are having.

I have one of the pickiest eaters on the planet. He would try anything at that time and would hate it after and never touch it again. Now he is almost 5 and we are still dealing with this. Sorry I have no ideas for meals. Aloha and take care.

string cheese, hot dogs cut up small, ANY fruit cut up - grapes, peaches, apple, mandarin oranges (my boys LOVED these), strawberries, blueberries, cooked pasta, cheese toast, scrambled eggs, cut up deli meat, hummus (my 2 yr old loves it!)... I could go on but that's probably enough for now. Good Luck! : )

my toddler likes yogurt, oatmeal- i love giving him this because I can add alot to it and change it up. add raisons, craisons, bananas, jelly, etc, mac and cheese, or even noodles with butter and parm cheese, fruit-cut up grapes, strawberries, apples, hot dogs cut up, black beans, quesadilla, peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches...

Have you tried giving her stuff that you are eating...whatever meal you have made for the rest of your family? That's what I would try. (Hope it helps, my daughter isn't that old yet)

I've got an 18 month old and she seems way pickier then her 3 year old brother was at that age.
She does love scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (messy--Oy!), corn and steak. Tortillas with cheese also!
LOL because our menus are pretty strange as well!

LOL ~ My kids are young adults now, so. . . . . they used to eat lots of Cheerios, loved toast and peanut butter!

Well it has been 14 years since I had one that young. However I do seem to recall they ate what we ate at that point. Sorry not to be of more help. The memory bank is overdrawn.

I gave my toddlers just what we were eating only in smaller portions & cut up the way they needed it. My son, @ this age, loved lettuce salads but my daughter refused anything green up until a few years ago. She did love soups though.

I wish you luck! She looks like you are letting her feed herself. Are you letting her use a spoon? Sometimes that helps.

At our house, by the time they're about one they just eat the same as everybody else minus the big pieces of meat.

Chicken nuggets or fish sticks? Spaghetti with butter?

I wish I could help you. My 26 month old (#2) is horrible with eating. Some days he will eat only mac & cheese, cheese sticks and perhaps some crackers. His brother was much better. He would eat most things that we put in front of him. The best thing to do is try lots of variations and see what your little one likes. Good luck!

I would try all kinds of foods. I'd try a soft meatloaf, she if she likes meat, I'd try different forms of chicken, baked, boiled, shredded, nuggets, in a cream sauce. I'd make hot dogs, pizza. Wow the choices are endless LOL

My youngest only eats certain foods, too. Our doctor says it's okay as long as she's taking her vitamins.

I used to make a lot of french toast. My son is picky so I did a lot of mac and cheese. With lots of cheese. Good luck.
