Ha...you thought I had finally given up on posting things that absolutely did not happen to me right?
You thought that finally you would be put out of your misery and would never again have to hear about how my children do not pee on each other.
Sorry to disappoint you but I have not given up. Nope, not me!
So my friends, during this 6th week of summer vacation I was not boy-less for over 6 days. I mean, who would keep my two rambunctious boys for that long? I mean, who would choose to spend a week with two boys who think that talking about penis' and "toots" at the dinner table is perfectly polite conversation?
Not their grandmother. Nope, she isn't that crazy.
During these 6 days I have not enjoyed every second of "non-body part" talk at the table with Princess. I have not sat on the couch and just listened to silence. I have not listened to my music in the vehicle. I have not watched my television shows.
No way. Not me.
I did not have a million and two things I wanted to get done while boy-less. And if I did, I did not only get about 5 of those things done. I know better than to just relax when only parenting one toddler.
I never ever thought that parenting one toddler would feel like a vacation. So for all of you parents of only one child.....consider yourself to be on a holiday because add two more to your life and it becomes a job and a half x1000.
Oldest child did not call one morning and leave a message telling me he loves me soooooooooooooooooooooo much. And if he did, I did not save the message and listen to it hundreds of times over the last few days.
I have not raised my voice once in over 6 days. Really. Except when belting out the latest "Pink" song on the radio.
I did not miss my boys like crazy. Ok....I did.....
And.....
After over 6 days, I am not ecstatic that the boys are back at home with me where they belong. Ok, I am.

Wow- 6 whole days?! How'd you con Grandma into that?
And I think you're right. One toddler is a major vacation!
thats awesome that you got a little brake.
Oh I'd kill (well not really) for a break from our 2 boys! I bet you really enjoyed yours. Happy Monday.
I have two boys, 7 and 2 and then a 7 month old daughter. I know how you feel, I would love a break from the "wild things"! But, I would miss them so!
Love this!! Though Grandma may need a vacation after 6 days with the boys!!! And I do only have 1 child and everyone with more than one tells me it isn't double the work to have another one but quadruple so I can't even imagine 3!!!
This is a good Not Me!! Glad they are home safe. Penis talk and all. ;)
6 days sounds like heaven to me. I was happy to have 2 days childless. You know what I did during those 2 days? NOTHING. And I loved every second of it!
You are right. Having one kid feels like a vacation!
