Wordful Wednesday {Video}

Yes, I know this is not a still photo, and, yes, I know it wasnt taken by me. But it is entertaining.....that counts right???

Ok, I know I am a stay at home mom and my brain is not used in the same way it was six years ago when I had a 9-5 job and had to occasionally speak to adults in a mature, responsible, respectful manner.

Now my life involves Treehouse TV, Disney and Barney.

I know all of the words to Princess' Elmo CD and can pretty much recite Max and Ruby word for word.

Jealous?

I can make a meal out of bologna, cheesestrings and Cheesies.
I can read a story using many different {male/female/child/animal} voices.
I can even spray my "Boogie Man Stay Away Spray" and have my children sleep soundly.

I know. I am damn good.

Believe it or not, I have won a baby food contest guessing what was in the jar.
I have also changed a diaper in 12 seconds.
And I have mastered teaching my children how to burp the "polite" way.

But being a stay at home mom has not taken away my common sense and "I would never do that" brain cells, because when I watch this show with Princess {every single flippin' day}, I find myself fascinated.

Why would anyone want to do this?
I hope they get paid alot of money.
They need to hire a new wardrobe person.
Are the men, umm....self- conscious?
How can this be Princess' favourite TV show?

Please tell me you are fascinated too.

LOL! Can you imagine Captain what's her face out on a date and talking to her date the way she does on the show?

Too funny.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Isaac has mentioned a few times when he's walked in on one of Evie's shows that he bets those adults haaaaaate their jobs.

I kind of think the opposite. I think they walk away everyday thinking "Wow! They actually PAY me for this crap!"

I really don't know what to say about that.

I just watched this with my two year old. yep, he was fascinated. That is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen - I thought the wiggles were bad, this is sooo weird!

What show is that? I have never seen that one before, although it looks about as crazy as my daughter's favorite...Yo Gabba Gabba. UGH

Is it just me or is that creepy?
That's almost like an ink blot test...you just look at it and say WHAT IS THAT?

I am always blown away at the crap they find engaging. It's creepy and weird and hard to stomach at times.

too funny. I think programs were way better when I was a kid...in the 70's

I have never seen this before - interesting :) I agree with Foursons though - shorts maybe?

Can you say CHEAP...the production co. knows the wardrobe is cheap and it is even if it is tacky. As far as shorts I agree, but maybe it would be too cold in the studio? Again production co. cheap?

I think I would have to poke my eyes out if I had to watch that show. When my son was young we watched Elmo 24/7, I knew every word to every video and would find myself singing the songs in the shower. Yep it was that bad ;)

You are a good mama. I don't mind most of my kids' shows. I even like some of them, I couldn't even make it through the first 30 seconds on that one.

And get some shorts for those guys. Yikes!

HAHA! We haven't watched tv for a long time. I thought some of the kids' shows were fairly interesting, if not downright creative.

Thank you, I can never get those 4 minutes and 14 seconds of my life back (I wonder what I would have done with that time?) I just thank God my daughter wasn't in the room when I watched that. I would have been watching it ever day for the rest of my life. Ahhh, I feel your pain (and I kinda wanna watch it again, sick).

That must be a Canadian one, huh? Those chicks have NO boobs, no wonder they can bounce around like that in front of little kids.

We have a shower here called "Yo Gabba Gabba" (you might get it too) that is TOTALLY beyond me but the kiddos LOVE it!
