3 years ago, this is what I wrote about

I used to have a different blog.  I went back to this date exactly 3 years ago today....well tonight...early tomorrow morning if you want to get specific.  This is what I wrote just a few hours before we met our baby girl.  Man, am I ever glad we decided to have just one more baby.

She completes us.

It is almost 5am.


I have been awake since 3am.


There is a full moon.


It is birth day.


4 hours from now I will be in the hospital.


I am terrified.


I am hours away from experiencing pain I do not wish to experience.


I am hours away from meeting my baby girl.


Baby girl. Baby girl. Baby girl.



I need to say it out loud over and over again to wrap my head around the idea of having a (gulp) daughter.


My life as I know it will never be the same.


I will no longer be just a "mom of boys".


My boys are going to be big brothers. For some reason I get very emotional when thinking about that.


Baby girl, we can't wait to meet you.
