Qualities I love in...ummm...boys

The differences in my three children constantly amaze and amuse me.
One child is loud, physical and cuddly.
One child is independent and stubborn.
And this child is a thinker, very determined and a "prefer to participate in activities by myself" kind of kid.

Give him a paddle and a canoe and he can keep himself happy and occupied for hours.

Just leave him alone and let him figure things out himself.
And he will.
Without asking for any help.
Without whining and complaining.
He just sets his mind to it.
And does it.

I admire his determination.
His individuality.
His everything.
But I am sure I have told you that a gazillion times before.

I also admire his canoeing skills because I cant get into one without tipping and making a complete fool of myself.

You have definitely pin-pointed the greatness in boys, that's for sure :)

Oh the personalities are different.

Such a lovely post and I love the photos. I do admire his skills too. Not sure I could not rock the boat (canoe ) :)

These shots of him? Fantastic. Honestly, they are SO good! So much great detail, emotion...I love them!

I am one of those people you do NOT want in your canoe. No matter how seasoned the people with me may be, we always end up going in circles when I'm involved. :)

It always amazes me, the differences in children...only having the one it's hard to fathom having so many different personalities in the house. But you have captured his personality very well!

He's going to go far in life.

As an aside, when I was a young girl, I was on a competitive canoe team!
