It is a memorable day in Momma's blog life

I received my first nasty comment today.

Wow your a bitch no one forced you to meet the characters so don't get mad when you have to wait in line. Just saying.

I am not sure if I should celebrate because someone took the time to read my blog and then comment or if I should cry in the corner because someone doesn't like me.

I am a real people pleaser and have been known to go out of my way to get everyone to like me.

And then I turned 36.

Now I just don't care.

So, to the anonymous reader who took a few moments out of their day to form an opinion about me and expressed themselves without letting me know who they are, thank you.

I hope that one day, you feel comfortable enough to leave your name so we can discuss the topic of  Disney Princesses further.
And...maybe I can teach you some grammar and spelling lessons.

Love Momma.

*Question for the people who still love me even though I am a bitch.   Do you allow anonymous comments on your blog????

Nope. I don't allow anonymous commenters. Mainly because I'm a bitch like that.

Seriously though, no. I've seen the kind of stress that can cause and seriously, I don't need that right now.

You know, when you get a negative comment, that means that you have 'made it'in the blog world. So congrats. :)

I can't believe someone left such a nasty comment. They need to get a life, seriously!

But, yes, in the blogging world a negative comment means that someone (even if they need some medication) cared enough to share their lack-of-joy. It is a congrats in the blogging world.

But I still think they are nuts. It isn't like standing in line is fun and you ought to be able to complain about it on your blog!

I allow them because honestly the nasty comments amuse me. I'm always up for a good laugh and a debate.

And you are now a seriously big-time, bonafide blogger now!

the FIRST thing i thought was how horribly written the anon comment was. :D and yes, i allow anonymous comments b/c usually they're ridiculous like this one, but generally i don't get any so it's all good.

No, I haven't had an anonymous comment yet, but I don't think I'd keep it. If you are going to take the time to leave a comment, then you should have the balls to at least put a name.

I do anonymous comments, but they must have a valid email address, which is easier to do on WP than Blogger.

I had a negative post the other day after my "Letter to the Swifties" post. Something along the lines of "it's just a concert, get over it." Um yeah... it wasn't just a concert. It was a lot of freakin' money, and my kid was in pain. I deleted it because of an invalid email address.

It had to be one of the creepy losers waiting in line with no children. :)
I do not allow anonymous comments anymore. I can't stand cowards with shitty opinions.
I know it probably doesn't mean much, but I think you are such a great blogger. One of my all time faves.
