Homestead Barn Hop. All I have are pics of cute animals.

Photo-heavy post of cute animals.
It's OK. You can "ooh" and "awwwww" all you want because these kitties are so cute, I think they could win a contest for cutest kittens ever.
If I entered them in one of course.
I might call them "cutie patootie" and say "I wuv you so much" as I hold them close and admire their perfect-ness.
Maybe.

Clearly, I have lost my mind.
It happened a long time ago, people.
I am not too embarrassed to admit it.
I might look and act normal, but inside I am clearly unstable.
Don't hate me.

Anyways,
an update on the barn cats, born to Smokey the barn cat who was supposed to be a male, but turned out to be a female..........

*almost 8 weeks old

*almost completely weaned from poor, tired Momma cat, Smokey

*mischievous

*curious

*cautious of very large horses residing in the same living area

*love to sleep under an unplugged generator instead of their cozy, comfy bed

*or on bales of hay

*enjoy playing with dead mice that their Momma brings them

*I am sure she is teaching them how to be proper barn cats.
Because barn cats have a very, important job.
To take care of the mice that scare me so much I scream like a little girl and jump on to things not meant to be jumped on.

Good job, Momma cat.
You have done a wonderful job raising your babes.
Please dont get pregnant again.
