The crisp, cooler weather that allows me to hide my "afterbirthingthreechildren" body.
The colours.
The scents.
Boycotting shaving my legs and armpits.
Crock pot meals.
Pumpkin-y and caramel-y and cinnamon-y candles flickering throughout the house.
The season is one I look forward to all year.
But when the wind and rain come, knocking down all of the beautiful leaves
When the outside cats try their hardest to make a run for the indoors every time I open a door
When the colours start to disappear
When there are frost warnings and heavy snowfalls not too far away
Autumn can just go suck it.
I am ready to move south.

C'mon down, sweetie! We would love to have you. Although, I can't promise no snow, or cold; I think you would find that we are nowhere near as snowy and as cold as where you are now. So there's that.
Gorgeous. I LOVE FALL!
I know! I begged and pleaded for fall - but it just ends too fast. It's like winter out there.
I LOVE Autumn with the colors, the warm squash soup, the pumpkin pies and apple pies. It's Winter that SUCKS!
Wait a minute, it's already that cold up there? When I got up this morning I put on shorts and a t-shirt to take my kids to school and was happy that it was only in the 80's. You need to make your way this direction ASAP. It sounds like the weather you are having right now is our dead of winter except we don't ever get snow. Ever.
Yeah but down here it's still friggin' 90 degrees and mosquitoes are still biting. So see, it's not all it's cracked up to be.
Well said! I second the part about not shaving! Great leaf photos :)
Look at you with your new blog design being all fancy and stuff. LOVE it!
