Frosty

It happened.
The negative temperatures.
That means below 0 degrees Celsius.

Hold me.
Winter is on it's way.

I hate winter.
Boots.
Mitts.
Hats.
Everything about it.

Except it looks pretty.

First, your frost pictures are wonderful! I love them!

Second, I don't love winter because it lasts. so. long. Seriously, it goes on and on and one forever. Why can't Fall last 5 months long instead of Winter? It's so cold that I have to cover all my cute outfits up with a coat, which I never take off because it's so cold. And I'm still cold. :( My power bill never gets much lower (it should but it doesn't) and my gas bill goes way up. It's an expensive time of year. And it's dark longer in the morning and sooner in the evening. And often it's gray during the day. And now I'm going to worry that my chickens will freeze all winter long, and that they'll be bored. Heaven forbid that we have cold, bored pets. But I don't have to worry about such things in the Summer, Spring, or Fall.

That's all. :P

You're right, it's beautiful! I especially love the image of the leaf with the frost...such a great pop of color.
I do love winter. Of course my winter down here in northwest Florida is a lot different from yours :-)

I'm probably in the minority, but I love winter. I love cold weather, snow, gray skies, getting dark early, boots, mittens, scarves...I love it! Hot weather gives me a complete headache and makes me feel tired. (My husband thinks there is something wrong with me for feeling like this, LOL!)

When we first moved here to NC from Texas I absolutely LOVED winter; because we never really had winter there. Now? After 15 years, I'm pretty much over it.

I live in Florida so the winters are pretty mild. I love it because you can go biking without all the heat and humidity.

The winter is beautiful I must admit, and I love when you go down a street and see all the branches are white with snow or ice & how it sparkles, but I don't like driving in it, or shoveling it or freezing. Spring & Fall makes me happy! Have a great weekend.

Those are gorgeous shots!! I'm like Kari - in the minority because I definitely prefer the colder weather over hot weather any day. Unless I'm on a beach in the Caribbean. Then it can be hot. ;) But I don't like the hot humidity we've been having as of late - you can only take so many clothes off to get cool, but I love layering in the winter...cozy! :)

The first snow, in December, is usually pretty. After January, I'm done with it.

Have a great weekend!

Not a fan of the extreme cold, snow, and ice. Living in NY state, it goes with the territory. I like it when it's cool, but no need for heat/AC or heavy coats and hats/mittens. The only perk about the cold, insects mostly go away.

Lovely photos. It would be a blast to welcome the winter season. All those snows and cold nights to share with love ones. Just can't wait.

Oh it does look pretty when viewed through your camera lens. I like winter from afar and for about three days. Then I'm done with it.
