The crunch sound the snow makes as I take each step.
The sound of the wind blowing through the open field.
Ike following behind me.
Ike stopping when I stop....
...and then posing as I take photos.
The silence.
The simple beauty in the colours black and white.
Forgetting everything else that needs to get done.
The cats following behind me....and Ike.
The {funny and cute} moments.
Coming inside where it is warm and cozy.

I LOVED these pictures (and the accompanying prose)!! Somehow, I get the feeling that snow and cats don't mix well.
But yeah, bring on it on Spring! I'm so ready for it!
I sure wish we could have a full week of this weather. No more than 7 though, then I want my 80° F back that we've been having.
I'm ready for spring but winter really is pretty.

Great scenery! Love your cat! My barn cat is white and disappears into the snow except for his yellow eyes! :) We are getting snow and wind here today. If my little ones would wake up, I might get out with the camera for a bit!

It's like you live in a Winter Wonderland. I wish I could beam myself over just for a couple of days, so I could see it in person. Of course I'd be inside with a hot cuppa something most of the time... ;)

Absolutely wonderful winter images! Such stillness, even with the animals as subjects. The image of the cat in profile is probably my favorite.
