If These Walls Could Talk

Would they tell me how my Great Grandmother raised many children here and stayed sane?
Would they tell me how hard my Great Grandfather worked to support his large family?

Would they tell me that there was alot of laughter and love inside these walls?

And would they tell me how lucky I am to be a part of this family?

Probably all of the above.

*The home my grandfather was born in.  Still standing today....right next door to the house he built and raised his family in.

Beautiful, beautiful post. I love the perspective of the photos and the story. And the last line? The teeny tiny one? That brought chills. Wonderful.

Love this post! I always wonder the same about old houses--whether I know the inhabitants (former and current) or not! Love the first picture!

Great pictures and a great post. I wish that old buildings could tell their stories. It would be fascinating!
