3

Today my Princess is 3 years old.
Every year I ask the same questions.
How did this happen?
Where does time go?
And say the same stuff.
They grow up too fast.
I miss my babies.

But the truth is, they will always be my babies.
When they are 3, 7, 9, 25 and even 62.
I will always marvel at their beauty.  Their perfection.
I will always be amazed that I had a part in creating them.
And for the rest of my life I will brag about them every chance I get.
Because they are that special.

Princess had a party this weekend to celebrate her birth.
She chose a summer dress even though it was snowing outside.
She chose to have a pink butterfly "cwip" in her hair.
And told me many times throughout the day that she loves pink and Minnie Mouse.
Phew.

Because her party was bathed in pink.  And Minnie Mouse.
Here are the pictures to prove it.

minnie

I love this girl because she loves wearing dresses.
And nighties.
And always has her sleeves pulled up.

I love this girl because she knows every Disney Princess without ever seeing the movies.
Has an obsession with shoes.
And jewellery.

I love this girl because she tells me she loves me.
And in the next breath lets me know that she "no need help".
She calls Babybel cheese, "circle cheese" and ketchup "dip dip sauce".
bday

I love this girl because she dances and sings whenever she feels the urge.
And lets everyone know that she is "so pretty".
Or maybe that is me.
Because she is.

Happy Birthday to the most beautiful three year old Princess in the Universe.

And just to fit in with all of the other bloggers who go to extremes to plan their childrens birthdays.

*summer dress purchased at Costco
*gifts purchased at the Disney Store, Toys R Us and Mastermind Toys
*candles purchased at local dollar store
*cake made by my very talented friend Val.  I have all of her contact info if anyone is interested.  You should be because she did an amazing job and the cake tasted heavenly.

Yes, they will always be are babies... Mine is 3 and big into pink and princesses. She had a castle cake, and I loved every minute of watching her smile that day. Enjoy your little girl.

Happy Birthday to your pink-loving, shoe-loving, pretty girl!

Yes, the time DOES go fast. I've got a boy turning 17 this year. SEVENTEEN! How did that happen? Because I am surely too young to have a 17 year old....
