Stuff that happened on the weekend

OK, it is now {almost} Thursday but it still feels like the weekend because we had a holiday on Monday and hubby was off on Tuesday.
It has also been summer weather up here in the far north {aka Canada} and we are counting the days until summer vacation.
Actually, I am counting the days until the beginning of the next school year......
But anyways.....

I give you stuff that happened on the weekend.
butterfly
grandma
blue
weeds
chair
geese
fishing
sitting
water
nick
matt
duck
Other things not captured with my camera....
Studley the dog pooped on the floor (again).
But I still love him because it wasnt runny poop soup all over my floors.
Both cats are missing.
Flowers were planted and the garden prepared for veggies.
Our first BBQ of the season with my Mommy.  I cried alot because Daddy wasn't there.
Princess wanted to go get her Papa in Heaven so he could go out for dinner with us.
This totally sucks balls guys.
Grief is a puzzle that I don't think I will ever figure out.

we keep trying to get my MIL (age 82) to try the iPad -she wants NO part of it! I think she secretly knows she would LOVE it and have to buy one for herself!

It looks like you're doing the best you can my friend, soaking up time with your Grandma, etc.

And, huh, wonder where the cats got off to...

Gorgeous moth -- and the photo of your mom with the iPad made me smile.

I'm missing one cat out of seven, which makes me a little happy, because I really never liked that cat anyway. (that's between you and me!)

Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursdays this week!

Beautiful detail captured on the moth/butterfly. It's always delightful to see the older generation with new technology. Lovely photos all around. Visiting from A Rural Journal.
